guys, does maxis also have this kind of limitation? (5Gb per month)

Yes they do have their Fair Usage Policy as well but I'm not too sure whether it is really implemented or not.

If you are not a heavy downloader then try to minimize your usage especially when browsing. You can set your cache limit higher so that your connection downloads less data on the sites you frequently visit.

No it is just that you will reach the 5GB limit per month really fast and your speed will be capped at 64kbps for D68 and 128kbps for D98.

If you're using Mozilla Firefox, go to Tools > Options. Then select Advanced settings and go to the Network tab. You can increase the cache limit there perhaps double the size. I set mine to 100MB as the limit.

a very good idea indeed

No secrets, it is just that moderators are able to see member's IP so I saw that digilife is posting with a TMNET IP.

Just some update on the Home, Hop and Away broadband. It seems I was given some wrong information by the Celcom officer. You cannot combine your voice plan with this data plan. The SIM card given to me has a 013XXX number but no calls could be made. It can only be used with a modem for data connection. How I know all this, I called up 1111 after a few days I signup for the plan.

So I went to the branch and met with the manager to cancel the Hop, Hop and Away and resignup to D68 plan on the reasons of misinformation. The manager was kind enough to give me a rebate on my next bills to cancel off the RM350 penalty.

Now my Streamyx account is also automatically canceled and I have to reapply smile.gif
