yes...BoB is that good. if you can get through the 1st episode......1st episode a bit slow.....and i wish they made more than 10 episodes.

i have been watching some of the episodes and then re-watch them with the 'in-field guide with easy company' thing which has plenty of facts regarding the episodes....those are very informational. so...there are people (like me) who watched the special features.

it just blank both side of the DVD, probably because it is dual layer?

Dual-layer should be only on one side. This probably a double-sided DVD.
