Personally has tried the slumberland emerald last weekend, but seems like it's not the standard slumberland model from their catalogue, which suspect it's a house brand model.
Anyhow, I guess it just an entry model, not up to temp smart 1600 yet.
I guess you are referring to hilker (not hiker). I've tried one model name gomez , guess it's the firmest model that I like, last time selling at Harvey Norman for about rm2.8k. Maybe you may look for this model.

Slumberland emerald is their luxurious mattress. U can see it in sg website but there is no spec detail on it

http://www.slumberland.com.sg/product/product-listing/

If not mistaken it got a layer of latex on top

I have been reading the thread and the more I read, the more I'm confused. haha.
First time buying a mattress for myself.
Prefer queen size.
Been sleeping on a pocket spring bed on last 20 years. I prefer bed's that are medium-firm, not too soft.

Budget probably RM4k and below.
Looking for a brand that is comfortable and can last.
Not from KL so a bit less options but if you guys can recommend me the names I can try to find...

The one I keep seeing in this thread is Dunlopillo Royal Exec Luxe. Will try to find it at HomeDec expo in Penang today... to try and see.

Just got mine a Vono ErgoBed Accent II, pocket spring with laxex+ foam top, firm mattress and I would say I've made a right decision. Importantly it's cost is very reasonable too (rm2k range, though my initial budget was >3k).
If prefer medium firm, suggest to try Vono ErgoBed 1200/1200SE, even a bit cheaper than former.

I believe Penang have big furniture shop. Can go survey and feel yourself.
Home fair price always mark up higher than furniture shop.
How about Slumberland TempSmart series, Goodnite Statfree series, Vono Ergobed or Spinepro series.

I hv some questions about diven or bedframe.

1. how to decide which type of diven bed? I saw some is one or two pieces bedframe?

2. can diven bedframe accommodation different heights of mattress? I guess only wood bedframe can cater different heights but not sure how about the weight of the mattress?

I went to HomeDec fair in Penang yesterday. regal comfort 100 price is def lower than this because I was offered RM2.8K only for Imperial comfort 200. I bought it together with Silvery bedframe for RM3.4K.

100 is using memory foam as I remembered so didn't like that one..

1. You can use one or two divan on top of each other if you want more height for your bed. Some people use divan at bottom followed by box spring then mattress on top. Mostly people use one divan only.

2. Most divan can hold mattress from various height without any problem. It's the headboard that need to be adjusted if you want to put a really thick mattress as you don't want your mattress go high above your headboard. LOL

Most divan have an extra middle legs for queen and king size to cater the mattress excess weight compared to four legs on single or super single divan.

If just buying mattress, I would have think twice about the price offered and such, but I wanted to change my whole bedset. They also help me dispose old mattress and frame for free. So after some thoughts I went ahead with the RM3.4K for queen size and their Silvery dark brown bed frame with 2 pillow 1 bolster and 1 waterproof anti dustmite protector.

Hi everyone,

Do u all hear about Englander McKinney mattress?

I get quotation of queen size with a divan bed frame of rm2400.

But when I search thru google, I rarely see the existence of Mckinney series under Englander.

Please advise. confused.gif
