Two questions for you everdying about the mako,

1) How much clearance do they need? 6 inches from anything IINM right?
2) Can you post a picture of your setup?

the manual says min 3 inches...but at least 6 inches is ideal.

if i put above there is barely 3" seperating the sub from the sats...

They seem to like it very much.. the only part they complained its the fragile/thin cable/wire tongue.gif

By think of it.. they didnt compared to previous Razer in-ear earphones (Razer Pro|Toneâ„¢).

I wonder Moray its replacing Razer Pro|Toneâ„¢ like Goliathus replacing Mantis tongue.gif

yea the wire is kinda thin..but sturdy so i dun it'll b a problem..

but it darn hell is a great headset..but the ear piece sumtimes kinda annoying..i dun tink all 3 of the earpiece provided suitable for me..haha..

i dun know its too big or too small for me.. tongue.gif

weee I just got my first DeathAdder biggrin.gif I really love how my hand fits it, fits just right.. btw its C&C: Kane's Wrath Edition, last stock at the local shop <__< wanted to buy the normal one.. but i just cnt resist the redness.. lol. cant wait for the moray and megalodon and the Lycosa Mirror looks great.. i hope my Lycosa wont peel off :E

Hi, there, I am usually go to Damansara Jaya Blitzone for gaming, I found out that Razer Death Adder not so durable for the click buttons, I got several seat with dull click response Death Adder compare to old batch copperhead. Hmm, poor Omron click button?

Why not just change the omron button? Those button are quite cheap only compare with the price of a brand new gaming mouse.

Most of the razer mouse have scroll button 1, just find a mouse that is comfortable\fit for ur hand and of course base on ur budget too

Coz i really like the feature of using the tilt function to sneak a peek around corners rather then using the keyboard.

If none of the razor mouse have that function its still ok but i would really like 2 have it.

Just went to Low Yat today, manged to recognize the China and US version of Razer Salmosa. The china ones comes with a cheaper packaging while the US ones are in the standard box packaging. Based on sri comp price, it's rm105 for china version and RM115 for the US version. No demo is available for this salmosa but they did put a demo for Razer Destructor. Very small. sweat.gif

They just released new drivers and firmware for DA and Lachesis a few weeks back. I think Copperhead's a bit old so they're done optimising the drivers and firmwares.

How come when i want to update my tarantula firmware it wonr work after the plug the usb part vmad.gif vmad.gif
Take picture very easy one, my friend tried this before
He go find those super leng lui and want their phone number
He will ask them fill in survey for school and make excuse that if not he fail laugh.gif
So the leng lui will fill (Hp number also)
The girl will put without thinking as it is for school purposes rclxms.gif
Then he takes a picture for proof and go away
His trick seem to work everytime shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

yea.. the only selling point of salmosa for me is the sensor.. but the salmosa even the europe version seems just a size too small for my palm.. too bad..

dont forget US salmosa has both dpi and polling switches, so no need drivers to select.

i own razer copperhead mouse & i cant remember when i purchase it.the problem is that the click button for both left & right has been malfunctioned.if the mouse is under warranty,where can i claim it?is it i have to go to the shop that i bought it or straight go to Razer distributor?& if the warranty period has over,is it worth for me to repair it or should i consider to buy a new mouse?for the moment,i just get a new razer salmosa for temporary replacement.but i still prefer the copperhead.how anybody can help me solve my problem... smile.gif

hey guys...i do have a question here & i hope somebody could help me... smile.gif

i own razer copperhead mouse & i cant remember when i purchase it.the problem is that the click button for both left & right has been malfunctioned.if the mouse is under warranty,where can i claim it?is it i have to go to the shop that i bought it or straight go to Razer distributor?& if the warranty period has over,is it worth for me to repair it or should i consider to buy a new mouse?for the moment,i just get a new razer salmosa for temporary replacement.but i still prefer the copperhead.how anybody can help me solve my problem... smile.gif

not only on DA... my lachesis also lidat sometimes... they say is the USB port problem... i'm yet to confirm this but it seems to be tat way cuz my G15 also off sometimes... it usually happens when PC suddenly off den on back... or when upgrading some drivers or some windows update...

cuz u dunno how to use a gaming mouse... tat moving issue is only for Lachesis... tat's y i want to turn it into DA...
and in my experience... my copperhead is still like new which i bought 2 years ago... damn miss tat mouse... sad.gif

Having used Microsoft Natural keyboards for a long time, I recently switched to Razer Lycosa. I don't know if it's me or not, but I find it quite hard to type without having typos. I mean its not that I have a problem with typing because I use a normal keyboard at work as well. It's just that there's something about the Lycosa keyboard that screws up my typing.

Anyone having this issue?

Erm. Before this i was using normal keyboard. After i switched to tarantula which is flat keys type, i have the same problem as u too. Keep error on typing. It take time to get use to it. After u get used to it, u can type faster than the normal keyboard. Just have ur time.

The Arctosa will only be in the black color and the letter will be in black as well.
arctosa black

The meaning of silver is the letter on keycap itself is silver color not the whole keyboard case and keycap.

pc fair wun cheap much....in fact some store stil selling higher than usual...if u looking for new product mayb u can go take a look....but i advice u go to ur neighbourdhood pc store or lowyat...cuz the environment much better n the price wun much difference....fed up wif pc fair after went there 5 times....

Tarantula, at first sure syok. Typing feeling good. But after a year, u see la. The keys feeling arent same. And key fade also. But still a good keyboard but quality sweat.gif .

I think he means the sticker around the sensor. Mine's almost completely faded, left a head or two. But seriously, who cares? If you're so concerned about its looks, get one for display and another one for everyday use. Sheesh.

so like the smart roadster coupe, u are esentially buying a 2-seater mid engine, mercedes sports coupe for under rm100k which is a pretty damn good value, with of cos mercedes beautiful handling technology.
also goes from 0-100 in 10 secs which is pretty decent.

I have both a Goliathus Alpha Speed and a Mantis Speed. The Goliathus Speed is definitely much smoother and faster but it was too fast for me lol Kept my Goliathus and now using the Mantis Speed which I feel is just nice. I'm using a Deathadder for a mouse btw.

OMG. Just now I was freaked out
My keyboard could not type anything but the light seem to be on
So i was like worried
I check my usb, all plugged in. I restart PC for 3 times. My Tarantula driver could not be found. So I just plug it back in and it works.
Almost had a heart attack smile.gif

anyone knows what is the best configuration for lachesis?

Just get mine last 2 days + Goliathius, but the sensitivity is crayyyyzeeee...always miss-click on somethin` & another thing is the double click is harder..maybe i'm not quite familiar with the mouse yet since been using 1000dpi previously..

razer called themselves as a gaming manufacturer, the only main difference to other mouses was the higher dpi and on-the-fly sens...and this was a ball mouse...so watever technology there is...well what technology for ball?
the ori boomslang as much as it was marketed as the best then, had alot of problems...and i doubt many actually used them.

and razer actually went bankrupt at one point, they only really started taking off again when the diamondback was released which was around 2004.

i bought a razer mouse in april 2008. after few months of using the right click of the mouse is "depressed" in. it's no longer making the clicking sound and its very hard to click.

can i return the mouse to the retailer for repair or exchange. i got the invoice and everything.

i put protools on my CH to match my boomslang CE.

obviously i got no logitech z5500 to compare with.
but i know i have absolutely no use at all for a 5.1 setup...sometimes more isnt better.
why pay for a jack of all trades when u can have the master? tongue.gif

anyway, the bass on the mako is damn tight sounding, reproduces a wide frequency range with no probs at all.
almost everything sounds good on it, especially live recordings.

erm....first i think mako can beat z5500 cuz mako is THX certified unless u find a THX certified 5.1 sound system....then can beat mako wif no prob at all....but again...u know razer stuff is pricely...so if u gt 1000++ budget i suggest u go for 5.1 THX certifed....creative or logitech will do..

actually razer says can place the sub on floor or desk also, doesnt matter.
but i like them all on the same plane.
also helps to reduce cable length so wont be so messy.

U might want to adjust the sensitivity & win pointer speed that suits u'r needs.. remember to click on apply 1st to test or else it wont change the settings

ur config has a couple of basic 'mistakes'.

ur win pointer speed is extremely high.
acceleration should be off.

most recommendation is to drop ur win pointer speed down, and increase the dpi so it feels the same.
basically try this.
put win pointer speed at 5.
put dpi at max 4000.
adjust the sensitivity to match to wat it feels like before - from guessing i would say has to be around 1.5.
u go pandai pandai adjust dpi and sensitivity la.

also the polling rate, most ppl cant feel the difference between 500hz and 1000hz...so better u try 500hz since 1000hz takes up more cpu power.

After following Everdying advice it seems like everything works smoothly..
no more cursor jumps...

DPI: 4000
Pooling: 500Hz
Win Pointer: 4.5
Sensitivity: 5~6
Acceleration, X-axis, Y-axis: 10

I just want to get High End mouse at that time... doesn't include the comfort & ergonomics at that time..
If u want to buy a new mice, better check on the comfortableness of u'r palm & the performance wise..
I need sometimes to get used with Lachesis because previously I used this good A4Tech OP-57D biggrin.gif

so overall to me is 8/10

Hope Razer will release Tarantula with key not faded+backlit
And also backlit the whole keyboard. So that some can change normal keys with the backlit keys
So you can have both at the same time smile.gif
the WASD keys are all backlit and others are not

by the way is it better if not only WASD if can let u set any key to be lighted will be better,DOTA player can set for the hero's skill lighted up so can focus better haha

Yeah..like i said whole keyboard backlit
And they have 2 set of keys..normal keys and transparent words keys
So players can change during game play

Well, got myself a DB3G Salamander Red yesterday. The size is slightly bigger and fit my hand better. But just wonder, the light is slightly dimmer than the Krait i had. Is that normal?

imo the only mouse you can buy from Razer is only Deathadder, imo. I tried all Razer mouse,they weren't as good/comfortable as DA. So DA>All Razer Mouse. blush.gif

LOL..Cause i never intended to buy it anyway.

But was there last weekend at LYP, and thought about looking for a new mouse. At first, kinda interested in getting the Salmosa but when i saw the Asian Edition, i kinda pull back. It just seem to small for me and looked even smaller than the Krait. Then, they offered me the DB3G at a good price which i cant ignore tongue.gif

Well, yesterday was the first time i finally powered up my RMAed Lycossa even though its back for almost 1 - 2 months (due to my RMAed motherboard).

It does seem different from the first batch i had. First, the led lights are not much brighter as compared to the first one i had. And the USB port is way better compared to the loosy one on the previous. Tested the USB port as well and it does feel to be USB2.0 though as transfer speed seems to be similar to my other USB ports. How can i check whether its 2.0 or not?
