Well, got myself a DB3G Salamander Red yesterday. The size is slightly bigger and fit my hand better. But just wonder, the light is slightly dimmer than the Krait i had. Is that normal?

QUOTE(sonic_cd @ Dec 1 2008, 04:30 PM) you mean when viwed from the side or the scroll wheel ? Well, the scroll wheel is bright but the side is slightly dimmer. And i thought the razer logo at the body can be lighted as well.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Dec 1 2008, 10:38 PM) thats why never ask here before buying the side there is no led at all, just whatever light bleeding thru from the scroll wheel. LOL..Cause i never intended to buy it anyway. But was there last weekend at LYP, and thought about looking for a new mouse. At first, kinda interested in getting the Salmosa but when i saw the Asian Edition, i kinda pull back. It just seem to small for me and looked even smaller than the Krait. Then, they offered me the DB3G at a good price which i cant ignore

Well, yesterday was the first time i finally powered up my RMAed Lycossa even though its back for almost 1 - 2 months (due to my RMAed motherboard).
It does seem different from the first batch i had. First, the led lights are not much brighter as compared to the first one i had. And the USB port is way better compared to the loosy one on the previous. Tested the USB port as well and it does feel to be USB2.0 though as transfer speed seems to be similar to my other USB ports. How can i check whether its 2.0 or not?

QUOTE(KHOdin @ Dec 3 2008, 04:46 PM) which u guys prefer? lycosa or lycosa mirror edition? will lycosa mirror edition have many finger prints issue on the keyboard?? If it does, then you have a choice of either having loads of dust issues on the rubber keys or fingerprint magnets on the mirror edition

Well, one thing about the USB plug on my Lycossa. It is able to detect a certain pendrive only. I tried my Imation on it and it wasnt detected. Changed to Sandisk and everything was fine. Weird...

QUOTE(gerogelow88 @ Jan 8 2009, 03:56 PM) 4H jack? what you mean? Added on January 8, 2009, 4:04 pmI think is the power consumption of the pen drive or the length of the USB wire.. Lycosa - mirror is for the beauty ler... Mine is the normal Lycossa. Anyway, possibly the power consumption i guess. Tested a couple of pendrive, from Sandisk to Kingston to Imation, only the Imation one is giving me trouble. LOL...

QUOTE(bluesky87 @ Feb 2 2009, 05:16 PM) Thanks for your comment I wanted to go for DA too buy my girl keep on brain washing me to go for DB because she likes it. Anyway I'll decide on that when I get to touch and feel it side by side. It seems like the mat doesn't help much but I might still be getting one just wondering what is the different between RAZER Goliathus Control and RAZER Goliathus Speed Well, i believe the surface is kinda different. Probably something to do with friction etc. It depends on user preference. If possible, try out the surface first and see which one matches your preference. I would go with the Speed version though.
