did manage to play 334x9 as old bios i cant

i really think i am going to take your advice and get a new CPU, but with the tri-core x3's is there any software or games making use of an odd core CPU, as the resource handler would have to split into 3 rather than an even number. - sounds like hard work!...are these cpu's being used to full potential or are they put out by AMD to test the market for future x3 sales IF it can be used properly?

alternatively i will be looking for a x4 core phenom. but i have read+heard alot about the bugs in early stages with: 1066ram, bios updates, vista x64. etc...

Sory about all the questions, im eager to learn, just wondering what kind of performance gain would i expect if i upgraded from my 3.06ghz x2 core to a 3.06ghz x4 core(clocked or not) and which x4 core would u suggest as good headroom for overclocking, performance and last but not least an x4 core which isnt going to break the bank in half?!?!?!
