i hope they won't cancel the education discount. i'm holding off purchasing a new mac until i enroll for my post-grad next year, so it would be a shame to lose that benefit. the best thing would be for apple to come up with a solution that would verify whether someone is a student or not.

yeah, personally, I believe they'll have to do something like the Apple US Education store...
that's probably the simplest accurate way to do it...

read this thread..has anybody made any purchases with credit card..i tink mebbe 1 or 2 of u guys did:lol: any 2% thingy?

check the stores "HELP" page on payments..nth mentioned..

any idea guys..jz planning to get a nano for me gf..

The thing is, anyone in the US can buy from the educational store if they choose to.

You just have to select your school (or make it up), and/or select the default EDU website.

the 2 % surchage are mainly from smaller companies
u try go jusco, swipe for rm 50, see got 2% ornot?

i will buy macbook alu today using my brother HSBC CC which i will taking the student edu price since im a student after all,

very nervous since its my first time buying expensive item using cc, btw bro @hapa its not so hard to buy using cc right, just follow the description there and put all cc details and etc and then after that we approve and just wait for the stuff to arrive to my home/place right..?

yup yup.. jz follow all the step... and you better gv a correct phone number, coz they may call u to verify the CC...
u jz tell them is ur bro CC and let ur bro ans it, should need some pin or password of the CC (i'm not sure about this, i use my mom CC, when they call i jz tell them to call my mom)

apparently it has a mike and remote control? blush.gif i m too looking for the in -ear apple earphone but i do suppose with the current price tag i'll have to explore my alternatives tongue.gif
