QUOTE(rthj @ Jan 27 2009, 04:10 PM) with unlimited downloads per month? no bit torrent monitoring/restriction.. ? that's cool..Added on January 27, 2009, 4:17 pm QUOTE(gabanyayaya @ Jan 27 2009, 04:13 PM) what is normal MKV in your case?? izzit normal AVI DVD rip? 700-800MB rite?I think for me, normal HD MKV is 720p with DD track so that comes out to be 4+GB per movie.. how can you say HD quality is wasting time? lol...then buying 1080 capable screens are also wasting time. if you are just a typical guy that can watch whatever quality stuff, it's fine. but you cant say waiting for higher quality = wasting time. cos other than blu ray rips, the quality is just shitty. plus some good movies deserve a HD treatment.

QUOTE(rthj @ Jan 27 2009, 10:36 PM) my 5-8years 30-40GB drives still functioning (just left in storage drawer). my 6.4GB drive over 10years will working as well..and my 2-3years 320GB drive, has been easily backed-up (2+hours) to my 1TB drive... and 2-3 years from now, my 1TB drives will be backup up to my 3-4GB drive easily via USB3.0 (5Gb/s).. it will last longer when they are not used everyday.. most of my archive stuffs (with 2nd backup) need not be powered up daily... |
