QUOTE(ruffdawg @ Nov 29 2008, 12:39 AM) That means the silver coloured heatsinks right. Yes the silver coloured heatsinks. it's nickel plated Added on November 29, 2008, 12:58 pmQUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Nov 29 2008, 12:59 AM) the price nearly the same except the hd4850 1gb which is rm70 more than the 9800GTX+. i'm surely getting 1 of those 3 by next week with a new monitor, the samsung 2233BW.. is that the right choice of GC with that monitor..? budget rm700.. Get the 4850GS 1GB as it's better at higher resolutions because it has more memory. This post has been edited by alpha_company: Nov 29 2008, 12:59 PM

QUOTE(Archaven @ Nov 29 2008, 11:11 AM) Hi all. My 4850GS temperature is as below: GPU Diode (Shader): 48C GPU Diode (Mem IO): 50C GPU Diode (Disp IO): 46C All above are when idle. I'm using EXPERTool and Fan Speed is 50% Dynamic. On load my temperature will be more than 65C when i quit the game. Is that normal?. Also how can i know the highest temperature or average temperature during gaming? Many thanks My 4850GS almost reach these temperatures when at LOAD. Somehow I think his system is caused by his processor and RAM OC ._. Or maybe certain E8400 E0 can actually achieve that?

you can know which part of failure if fails in between 100 rounds.
do a stress for your mem and cpu , orthos blend test for 30 minutes. I'm not a fan of prime so forget it , or test with OCCT where stress with n/b also.
