1000000:1 wow...must be good. i mean the dell lcd clearly beaten the new samsung. but is it true?

Added on February 27, 2009, 11:13 am

some LCD are meant to last according to hours. not days. let's say 50000 hours. if one day u use 8 hours. so one year u use 2920 hours. so the lcd can last for around 17.123 years aporximately. but sometimes u use more than 8 hours. example 12 hours but sometimes u use less than 8 hours. in the end depends on ur usage.

Added on February 27, 2009, 11:15 amthis is for the acer monitor. but some company rarely display the total hours for a lcd to last. some maybe 10000 hours or 5000 hours. lol. we might not know the actual lifespan of the lcd.

that is why some product comes with MTBF - mean time between failure specification.

Last time only sony has this(and they were priced very, very expensively). The technology was still immature, OLED keeps dying way too early. Did the technology mature already?

Nvm, it's LCD.

Hello, I had a problem with my lcd, when I turned it on, the power led blinking, but there's no display, I'm sure of its my LCD problem as i tested my CPU on friend's LCD and it works, so what could probably be the problem? I'm using Samsung 932BW

I heard it got something to do with the inverter. Just send to warranty and they will fix it to you

Sorry guys if this question have been asked before, i'm eying on a new 24inch LCD and will be using it mostly for 60% photo editing, 30% document and 10% movie or game.

The price should be lower than RM2k, i've seen the T240 from Samsung and 2408WFP or G2410, i've not research through other brand due to lack of time. Which one would be the best for my usage?

Appreciate any feedback biggrin.gif
