the M3300 remote control is designed that way, so that when u plug in headphone, u need to press the mute button to mute the speaker. without this feature, some user sometimes "shock" when they plugged out their headset because of louder sound from speaker. now u know why got the mute button right there in the remote. laugh.gif

Yeeha! I'm currently listening to my S530D now rclxm9.gif

Still in the process of burning in and finding the perfect placement of the speakers. But the sound is just great. drool.gif The Tracy Chapman song - Baby Can I Hold You sound is very clear crystal. Next song i wanna test out is some of the Fourplay songs and Acoustic Alchemy songs :

Will try out some of BD movies tomorrow, now i can't boom boom my baby. People wanna sleep. tongue.gif

edit: But my new Creative X-Fi USB 5.1 surround is giving me problem. The sound is out of sync when watching movies. Will update the driver now, see what'll happen.

Bro, i was using C3 for around half a year already. And i listen to music mostly. C3 is capable to produce sharp and clear sound from the sats, The sub also not bad, just that not enough power (RMS) that's all..

If you are serious music listener, try out Asus Xonar D2X. But make sure you use analog connection rather than optical cause it sounds better.

Welcome to the club... Hope you enjoy your S530d

To tommysasuke,
I will recommend S330, Sounds perfect for vocal, intrumental sound... S330 bass is solid and the satelite is very special.. different tweeter and mid..
