Hi all, i've just been browsing through the forums coz i'm quite free nowadays. And i've tend to come alot quite a number of threads lamenting the loss of an exclusive title for another platform for example 'Final Fantasy 13' which is coming out on both the PS3 and XBOX360. My Question would be..why the unhappiness or uneasiness just because the game company chooses to release the game on another platform so others can enjoy them? Is there a need for hostility or bitterness because of the loss of a 'so called exclusive' to another gaming console? I feel we have become too attached with our affliations to our respective consoles that whenever we see an exclusive title being marketed on another console,we feel a tinge of jealousy or whatnot..shouldnt we b happy as gamers that other console gamers are able to enjoy the game just as much as us? or is there a reason that is stirring up the unhappiness?i would like to know your thoughts on the subject..i'm not trying to point fingers on anyone but i would just like to understand the frustrations if there is any when it comes to the loss of an exclusive title to a rival console.peace out

it is the same with religion, football, and women.
plus most of the masses cant afford all consoles that are in the market, they need the feel of justification for their purchase, even if the justification is false.
It's Human nature don't try to change it.

Fanboys.. easy to understand difficult to tolerate. I'm even cursed for getting 3ROD on my XBox360 just because I'm not defending PS3 even though I own one

Again what is the point of this... oh wait, I thought what this thread is another one of those "PS3 Better than XBox 360" and vice versa.
Like what other's said before and to sum it up entirely - Human Nature.
The common part of knowledge as to what gives the unease feeling is some want to be part of something that will be on top. Like what xxboxx said in street talk like - 'be the bigger d!ck'...
There's always somebody want to be a part of bigger things... so hence, the arguments and comparison and somewhat the mundane stuff that is done commonly.
I for one am happy. I used to own an Xbox 360 and got rid of it because of the problems I faced. But still, for each console of its own they have their values and invaluable investment. So I am sure each and every one of us have their reasons.

Meh, I don't really care about reviews, but I'm quite surprised reading your link (if they are true). Seems like powerful console =/= better games Seems like most western developers are better at developing for the 360. I think/hope Japanese developers can develop both just as well, any comparison drawn for SCIV?
