Hi all, i've just been browsing through the forums coz i'm quite free nowadays. And i've tend to come alot quite a number of threads lamenting the loss of an exclusive title for another platform for example 'Final Fantasy 13' which is coming out on both the PS3 and XBOX360. My Question would be..why the unhappiness or uneasiness just because the game company chooses to release the game on another platform so others can enjoy them? Is there a need for hostility or bitterness because of the loss of a 'so called exclusive' to another gaming console? I feel we have become too attached with our affliations to our respective consoles that whenever we see an exclusive title being marketed on another console,we feel a tinge of jealousy or whatnot..shouldnt we b happy as gamers that other console gamers are able to enjoy the game just as much as us?

or is there a reason that is stirring up the unhappiness?i would like to know your thoughts on the subject..i'm not trying to point fingers on anyone but i would just like to understand the frustrations if there is any when it comes to the loss of an exclusive title to a rival console.peace out

hmm,well..seems that most ppl here actually admit it boils down to egoism=)i guessed as much.i'm glad that everyone here is not taking pot shots at this topic.i personally own an xbox360 but i'm more inclined towards the PS3 with its classy design and elegant interface..hahah,but to each, his own, i guess=)

not to mention the various other fashion and slang that we use=P hahah

hmm,lets keep the animosity at a minimum here shall we?=)we're all here to discuss about the above mentioned topic..but the earlier post about the promised 'exclusivity' games like ff13 i can understand.hahah,for ppl who bought a PS3 just for ff13 while they hav an xbox360 sitting at home would b pissed off since it's comin out on the xbox 360 anyways=)dat i can relate to..

nahh, i dont tink we're all that immature till we cant even discuss things properly in dis thread.. so far, it's been quite informative for me the things that have been posted here..

now dats a new perspective..but it makes sense.the only reason why some games are not up to par could b due to developers negligience=) i believe all consoles have their own collection of great games and features..i'm glad this topic didnt draw much flak.thanx for the opinions and thoughs,guys and girls..

hehe, come on.. dun instigate any anger there.. i'm sure there are xbox360 fanboys out there too who are loud=)but its good to see the feedback in this topic.btw,just curious..are there any games that were originally exclusive on the xbox360 dat got ported over to ps3?

so it's a give and take..there ARE xbox360 games that came out on the ps3=)hahah,nv reali gave that fact a thought coz i didnt know.i'm foreseeing more of the 'exclusives' turning non exclusives in the nx couple of months.coz the matter of fact is, every developer is definitely out to make money.why make a game exclusive only on one console if u can double it by producing it on 2 different consoles?rite?=)anyways,the global recession is hitting soon.bet these game companies need all the cash they can get..hahah
