QUOTE(illuminati @ Nov 10 2008, 10:33 AM) guys, my psp, whenever i play games with "heavy" graphics it started to stuck for a sec n sometimes display "LOADING" at the corner of the screen (depends on a game), some just lag for a sec then ok. try checking your clockspeed. a friend of mine got this prob too a few days ago and i recommended him to check his clockspeed. u might have underclocked it by mistake.before, its ok even on the same game (im referring to STAR WARS : THE FORCE UNLEASHED) now still playing the same game, but keep stuck for a sec on different scene n level. this goes to when i play NFS : CARBON OWN THE CITY, this happens when my car reaches full speed, the game will be stuck a sec. its not a problem to me as if its stuck forever and need to reset, but just wanna know why, before when i first play the game everything's ok, but now keeps on stuck. why ah? to check, simply press select while you're at the XMB and set it to the highest setting. i forgot what the selections lol. havent turned on my psp for a long time now. cannot find the goddamn charger. where the eff is it. @_@ Added on November 11, 2008, 1:39 am QUOTE(fongzai92 @ Nov 11 2008, 01:19 AM) i planning to go clean the dot... it make me irritating.. any idea the shop will charge me how much for this ? kinda risky. not that u might break something or something. but opening the case is a 'dirty' place will attract more dust n stuff into it.my psp screen is kinda dirty inside since my room is kinda messy and dusty (ehehe well, you can try opening it somewhere you're certain its clean and blow off the insides using compressed air. but if there's a speck on your screen, gotta wipe it with a very fine cloth. it scratches very easily. no im not joking. i thought it was just a cautionary to not to use just 'some' cloth. so i tried wiping with a tissue. micro scratches appeared. @_@ i dont know what did they do to the inside of the screen that it gets very easily scratched, but it does. very smooth and clear. handle with care. or, yea maybe you can try game shops. see if they provide cleaning services. haha. not sure about that though. I tried cleaning mine before at Bernard's place but he did told me its very risky. So, its up to you whether you wanted to do it or not. Mine is still fine so far. Cleaned up a very noticeable dust at the screen.

Hey guys.Guess what, developer Ah Man has come out of retirement with a brand new version of Ir Shell 4.7.This shell,if you don't know serves as a file manager, music player, book reader,homebrew/iso loader, photo viewer,ir remote, usbhost, nethost, adhoc pops and MANY more. With this brand new release,Ah Man has included some awesome features to his already "full of features shell".
- Supports 5.00M33 (Better to run it at 5.00M33-3) - Infra red learning feature added for fat psp's. (By using this, you can learn the codes of almost any remote control. It works with the Astro remote control as well). - Run's swf files directly from the shell - Many more lol I've used this shell, and it's just awesome. That is why i decided to post it in here I created codes for my TV,fan, radio and of course, for my Astro controller. Download Link : Irshell 4.7 Download Link : Irshell Skin Pack And of course,ENJOY!! (By using this, you can change channels on your tv,increase the volume, and do almost everything that an odinary remote controller is capable of doing). Feel free to ask if you face any problems when attempting to install this shell. |

thanks for the help chicaman, i will re-d/l the games in ISO files.
guys, help me out with TV display. yesterday i tried to connect the AV cable from PSP to TV. i did as instructed and the display from PSP can be viewed in my TV. i can watch videos and pictures from my storage in PSP. but somehow i cant play games as it always showing something "must be display in PROGRESSIVE format". i checked and selected the display format from INTERLACE to PROGRESSIVE already under display setting, but still cannot play games.can anyone explain how n why? |
