why u go update to official firmware for????

well i can't tell wat's the packages available as i havent been to shops recently, but as for wanting to play downloaded games, u need to have custom firmware (CFW), and not official firmware from sony
latest version of custom firmware is 5.01 if not mistaken most consoles sold at those sungai wang shops are probably installed with custom firmware already as part of their package also, u have to be sure of which mode you are buying the latest model psp3000 series are not able to be installed with custom firmware for now the last i checked, which the models that can be installed with CFW are the older model which are not in production anymore, hence ppl like to jack up the prices for the current stock. hope i don't get in trouble with the mods as discussion of downloaded games are actually illegal according to lowyat forum's rules as it's categorized as warez |
