jasonist,
my hippo works fine with me. my models with rubber tyres all are perfectly OK. so zeff, you don't use hippo so don't simply say the EFFECT of it. it only absorb water vapours...
*
yea... hopefully the hippos play their part in sucking vapors only... thanks for the advice... im juz only confused despite theres no light in the cabinet, the tyres will still liquidize... i think it juz started today, or even perhaps yesterday which i didnt notice carefully...

wow... looks like everyone has different problems now... well myke, mind to tell me how do u control/maintain ur room/cabinet temperature? one forumer told me my tyre liquidize due to hot temperature, since our weather here is hot and humid during daytime... sad.gif so hows the cars after putting them in the ICU case? this means tat the air cant get inside eh? blink.gif

yea i oso heard tat keeping the cars inside the box for long term may screw up the body paint too... but how bout those diecast shops they oso keep the cars inside the box for years if no customers buy it, the cars oso don seem to have any problems...

the "no ventilated" u mean is tat the room got no window? how do u maintain the temperature inside the room? i never had this problem before until i find this happen to the 350z... so far other models tyres are still ok... but im doubtful with the 350z produced by aa after the spoiler has broken off... doh.gif

there ain't any perfect models. that's why i am kind of piss off with some people that autoart are kings. sorry to say this but you know who i am refering to. anyway, what i mean is my models are at another house which is meant for storing things. most of the time the windows and doors are shut that's why it's non ventilated. till now i have lots of cars in box that are still perfect in their paintjob. i never bother about the temperature in the room as i spend most of my time at uni....

in fact the oily i face this time is different from the oily from the paint/small part... its the oil/chemical stuff coming from the tyres... now the tyres are hardened due to this phenomenon... so i assume the tyres are now spoiled, i juz dono wat makes this situation to happen yet... the tyres now are not rubber tyres anymore, its like more to hard plastic tyres that u can find from the mini hotwheels cars...
