prepare a few ks first then only ask around. those morphs are not difficult to find when you have the $$$.

as i mentioned in V3, sellers usually won't stock up on them if there is no order.

it's just that sellers usually would require some deposits, sometimes full amount, before making orders.

I like turtles very much, but when they grow big headache..
Any turtles/tortoise that wont grow so big to intro? my aunt has 3 star tortoise..

Panic***!!!!!!!
My turtle is dying...what should i do???
Its a pig nose turtle and somehow the shell looks like
it keep getting hit or something...like cracking day by day....T_T

I dont know if it actually is dying or what...some how i just felt that its dying.

those are minor and a turtle that size would most likely survive. and that sure looks like claw marks/damage from foreign objects.

check your tank, maybe the turtle hits sharp objects (edge of filters/skimmers) or something. and your substrate (gravel) is definitely too rough for piggies.

standard treatment procedure for injuries on softshell turtles that i usually implement are just the usage of aquarium salt and raised temperatures (85-86 degrees f)

yea maybe its the rock i guess,
then what should i do with the substrate? Get a new one?
ad errmm how do you raise the temperatures of the tank?

no substrate (bare bottom) works fine for most keepers.

raise temperature of course use heater (with thermostat better)

anyway, those gravels would likely only cause injuries to the plastron (unless that piggy swims upside down) so there must be something else in the tank.

can anyone help me identify what species is this?saw it in front of my house..it's still a baby..and it just won't eat..i tried to give him(her) small pieces of raw chicken meat,sausages,some vege..it's not eating them -.- and is it fine if i keep it in tap water?and do i need to put water heater for it?any information is much appreciated smile.gif
