rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif  That's great news ! Any idea how long that'll take ? I'm leaving to the UK soon lol.

On the other hand, how long do I have to charge the laptop battery when charging for the 1st time ?  hmm.gif
*
Erm... as far as I know, there's no 1st time charge for a laptop battery.... Just remember to fully discharge it once a month. As in, let the laptop battery go down to 0% then charge it back up. Should help you extend the battery's life. Also, be mindful of leaving your battery on while your laptop is plugged in for a long time. Read http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clev...tery-issue.html for more info. It happened to me. Now waiting for some news from Mucro. smile.gif

Guess the cooling system is still not enough? But then again, who would FULLY STRESS their system. No game in the world can fully stress a system like that (as far as I know, unless you run multiple instances of it). The only things possible are the progs that are designed to reallyyyyyy stress your system out and that's where we'll see the temps start to get crazy and the laptop to auto-shutdown.

I haven't gone through the review yet but will update this post when I do. tongue.gif

My question now is, when is Mucro gonna update their website with the NP5135. Suggesting it to a friend and he's not really keen on getting it from XoticPC. laugh.gif I wonder if the price of the 5135 would be the same as the 5125 because they are similar.

Configured this on XoticPC:

Total Price: $959 (without shipping) | $1159 (with $200 shipping) = RM 2970.02 & RM 3,589.42 respectively.

Between that and the Asus A42JA. Which would be better for gaming?

Obvious dupe is obvious. Someone from the working from that website/company is trying to promote it here? laugh.gif

Trustworthiness & Quality > Cheap prices

GenTech PC

XoticPC

MucroAsia

I didn't check out any of their prices, but they should be similar give or take 100USD

GenTech seems to have a choice of 3 laptops for Sagers. Is it because I'm too dumb to find the others or are there really just 3?

i doubt xoticpc ships to msia.

I think the early users of Sagers got their laptops from Xotic. Try checking the older posts. I could be wrong.

At least we got a few place to compare the price and service.........Just to share around
No harm if he is trying to sell or anything here .............at last we benefit if the price is GOOD
*
Another dupe? laugh.gif Can't argue with you there... You do get to compare prices. In the end... Its up to the buyer where he/she would buy from.

I have had a few problems before and sent back the parts back to Mucro.

1) HD5870 died on me and the whole laptop could not start. It was my own fault because I put too much pressure on the GPU and it broke or something happened. Took out the card and sent it back to them for <RM100 (Fedex or something) in shipping. The return... they covered it.

2) Laptop battery got bloated and sent it back too... for <RM 60 (pos laju). Waiting for new one and reimbursement as they sent me the wrong battery for my model.

All in all... these Sagers are built with very high quality and if you don't do any extreme modding, they won't fail on you. If I didn't mess with the GPU and plug-in the laptop 24/7 for days on end, I would have no problems with my laptop.

You can learn a lot from these laptops... Especially how to disassemble and reassemble them. It would help you out in cutting the costs as you just send back something lighter and smaller, rather than the whole laptop. But if you're not that tech-savvy then... can't help much. laugh.gif

I might say I have an EXTREMELY itchy hand. Haha... Just learning to troubleshoot my own problems so that I can save some money on shipping. XD

Battery?? Shipping price? Erm... Pos Laju it costs RM 48. If you mean the actual price of the battery.. I don't know. Haha...

Please try and fry an egg while you're doing your review. Then we can shut up the people who bashed the laptop. XD

@amduser: I don't know the price. Should email Mucro about it.

Yeah, I agree. Benchmarks and the temps that you get after doing them. Did you try cooking an egg on it yet?
