1. Because I would like to play it the way the developers intended me to play it and allowing me to change the difficulty takes a little bit away from that. I've always hated games with multiple difficulty settings - seems a desperate way to get replayability out of gamers.
2. Neither interest me. If anything, I'm less interested in Uncharted 2.
1. well..the dev INTENDED you to play with diff difficulty settings so gamers with diff skills could get more enjoyment out of it...For me I play Fallout at Very Hard difficulty as I found that the enemies are far too easy to kill with normal difficulty settings...hence I'd get more enjoyment in playing in Very Hard Mode.
I has little to do with replayability but infact they had to do it if they want games to really enjoy it...
I remember the second jas and daxter game on the ps2...it sort of a sandbox game..but they made it too easy hence enjoyed it lesser than say Ratched when the made it with difficulty settings.
Well different strokes for different people I guess.
2. Another case of different strokes for different people I guess.
