yea, ive read abit on the US playstation forums and seen a bunch of complaints bout the 2.70 update. thats why ive resist temptation of downloading it. Im waiting for Sony to release a statement tho, last time an update bricked PS3s, they took it off soon after it was put up, but now its been close to 2 weeks or so since the 2.70 one.

Previously i was abit sceptical about updating to the firmware 2.70, also read the US forums for the PS3. Anyhow, just updated it to the firmware 2.70 so can go online. So far so good, no problems what so ever, playing game for 3 hours straight and no signs of game freeze or any other glitches. thumbup.gif

Maybe it just happen to me. Sometime my PS3 freeze when you go to xmb to read/reply message while u in game. never happen before in 2.60. recently playing COD & RE5.

i dont think it freezes,it just takes awhile to load.

so far it just takes a few minutes to load(sometimes) on my machine.

it got a whole lot better when 2.70 came out,though

Any of you guys suffering from frequent kicks from PSN? I've never had it like this before. Its almost impossible to keep connected to PSN for more than a minute. Singapore or US.

Crap la like this. Cannot play online at all. If this becomes persistent I'm going to throw my ps3 at Sony Malaysia's presidents face.
