OMG! Meaning p1 wimax user only can get NAT3 and cannot play game like winning eleven 2009?

Yar can only get NAT 3. am testing it at moment. Only NAT 3 and no UPnP.
However..
I'm able to easily play Resistance 2 online.. Street Fighter as well..
Need to find other gauges and test..

I see. Then I need to get the Resistance 2 and play on2 with u. Hehe

lol.. other than online gaming it's quite stable.. no disconnections from PSN.. downloads are MUCH faster too.. updates and whatnot.
Sigh.. need to experiment more before the 15 days trial is over.

erm, guys .. what is that NAT3 and UPnP thingy? connection config?

this guy posted this info in the Playstation Network Community thread. i don't know where he got his intel but i won't be holding my breath for this as i don't expect sony to be launching local PSN Store anytime soon.

does it makes any difference? what ever is in SG PSN is going to be in MY PSN too..nothing is gonna be diff....

our credit card is accepted in SG PSN anyways...

Fact is we can already purchase stuff from SG PSN so I don't really see the big deal here. Downloads and whatnot in the MY PSN would also STILL be considered R3 versions so really..no biggy.
Guess for me it'd be nice to see MY Flag on PSN

for me it's not about the content nor the price.

it's about telling the bigasses at Sony that we got alot of PS3 gamer in here in Malaysia...& we're alive & kicking serious butt. It's time for them to expand & bring new opportunity to Malaysian gamers like official online tournament & offer. and perhaps, bring in some local content by local indie developer


it's suck to see our neighbours got all sort of gaming convention & official game launch and for us to go there we need to go all the hassle & apply for borderpass/passport


and to get MY PSN means telling the other famous 3rd party Developer to put Malaysia in their "Country" list. Do i need to remind that to buy MGO expension pack is such a hassle since they wont accept CC from Malaysia?

Well, obviously they have noticed that there are PS3 gamers here in M'sia hence the official launching, and if they 'say' that they're gonna launch the MY PSN site sometime down the line..soon, then all the better!

Offers I'm good for, but online tournament? With our Crapmyx here I kinda doubt it, would just ruin the experience.
We do however have non-Sony game tournaments held right?

Gaming convention and game launch events I would definitely DROOL over lol.. Reading about all the TGS and E3's overseas..daymn!
Problem is we're still relatively 'new' on the map, that even getting the game developers and companies to set up their camp here is gonna be a chore!

You do have a point but I don't think gaming can be as mainstream in MY at the same level as SG...it cost to damn high and out income level is not as high as other country...

Maybe during PS4 time...but it's has got to start somewhere I guess...

PS2 also has been launch in here back then but..launching alone wont do a jack. Sony itself is just like abandon the Malaysian market & didnt give much attention to it . I just wish we dont end up just like the PS2 era. oh well, you can also blame the piracy if you want


Yeah...it's sure good to have a LAN party or whatsoever in here. it's a good opportunity for all of us to meet up & enjoy the game even further. Smack talk face-to-face is even better

It may be good to have more gaming events held here, but I don't see anything happening any time soon. Gaming will never join main stream in Malaysia.

Most people here hardly "game" even if they consider themselves "gamers".

Now now... one do not need to be a 'gamer' to 'game' okay...let's not go into 'i'm more hardcore than you' argument...

as long as one person 'game'...it's good for the industry already

i'm very optimistic that sony will launch MY PSN store in the near future...

things are very different now compared to the old ps2 days when piracy when rampant...

Makes me wonder.. are there any official count on PS3 owners here or something sort? Maybe we could shove that numbers to Sony or whatsoever..
