Guys,
My friend PS3 half way update PS3 and got disconnected now PS3 can't on. Once on then it will shutdown by itself. Anything he can do rather then send it to Sony? Something like soft reset? Please advice. |

Disconnected as in the power went off?
If so that's one of the things that bricks a lot of PS3's. Power off while PS3 being updated. We've had a few problems like that. Search our threads to find some solutions |

Ok what happen was he was updating to 2.53 then internet connection problem(I assume) so what he did was restart the PS3. After that the PS3 can't be on. When you press the power button it will change from red to green. What he did was he press and hold that button and he heard beepx2 . After that , the PS3 can't be on anymore. Once you press the power button then it will change to green and it will automatically change back to Red(meaning standby color).

Guys, i usually leave my ps3 on standby mode. As usual, only the red standby light is on, but since yesterday when i leave my system on standby the green LAN light lit as well, along side with the red standby light. I've tried several trouble shooting tips and googled a little about this mess, nothing promising though.
