The Last Remnant for the neighbours is just around the corner, but for us, its gonnabe a nother waiting game. Sometimes, I just wish Sony would invest more in 3rd party software.

It was third party software that really helped PS1, PS2 days.I know Sony is really boosting

first party software (RESISTANCE, KILLZONE, RATCHET AND CLANK, GT) but we need more.Obviously,

we need RPGs. Good ones. Invesment, like what I typed above is in a type of buying exclusives.

Granted, its gonna cost for them, but in the long run, Sony and gamers will be benefited.

I am getting sick of Sony's snobbish attitude towards third party devs, while MS courts them like cheap hookers.

Any thoughts?

well Malaysia PS Store not up yet...so at this moment no need to register MY psn id..Any PSN id would be fine , as long as can play it online , then okey for me.

I remember playing BF smooth and nice. But recently, can't even connect to a game.. Know whats the best part? I did a route check.. And found out that damn *^&@*@ Streamyx is routing my connection to Alor Setar.. and I'm in Penang.

After an hour of experimenting yesterday night, I have came to a conclusion.

First of all, I need to appologize on saying the XMB got slower overall. Infact, it didn't really. Other than a few odd stuff that is. It actually depends ON YOUR connection, or rather if you are using streamyx the IP you are connected to.

I had a few different range of IPs and heres what I got:

118.xx.xxx = EXTREMELY SLOW friendlist loading, thus other things like viewing trophies gets bogged down.

124.xx.xxx = SLOW, about the same as 118.xx.xxx. The difference, I could get into the PSN Store a little bit faster.

60.49.xxx = Decent speed, not too bad. My friendlist which consists of about 50 friends took about 6 seconds to load.

60.51.xxx = Horrible sums it up. Nearly 20 seconds it took me to get into the PSN Store, my friendlist took nearly half a minute to load minus the avatars. Comparing trophies took nearly 40 seconds.

60.53.xxx = Great speed, but disconnects often. Probably has the fastest of all, my friend list loads in a mere 4 seconds with 50 people on it. Avatars were fully loaded in under a minute. Comparing trophies took less than 10 secs.

60.54.xxx = Nearly as fast as 60.53, but minus the disconnections.
So conclusion, technically the XMB isn't slower. Its now more dependant on your internet speed, you kinda could not view your trophies when your friendlist is loading but this issue won't be apparent to others who have a fast connection.

PSN-MY Store is UP!!! I tried to login, was asked the usual disclaimer, then logged into PSN-MY Store!!!

No content yet, but the usual PSN Store interface is there with a message that says "Playstation Network Coming Soon"!

Can't wait Try it and see if can... I think it got snuck in via Firmware 2.76...

P/S: Noticed wallet funds top-up option is PSN Card though, no Credit Card top-up? hm...

My PS3 is currently neglected all because of Patapon 2...Even SFIV and RE5 cannot save it...!!

/just to break the silence of this thread...but really...I haven't played any PS3 game since I downloaded Patapon 2 off the PSN Store...anyone else got this problem?
