ok, ok.. Thanks a lot, really appreciate it cuz i'm trying to get 1 07/08 patch so since 06/07 is the same so my search widen a bit.

It is virtually impossible now to find the normal 07/08 UCL patch on ebay (there are fake ones though).. Maybe they are sold in Singapore.. not sure la.. Will update if there is.

QUOTE(MaxReddevil @ Dec 9 2008, 01:24 AM)
Yup, the starball is indeed authentic. Made by SportingID, hence no lextra wordings printed on the plastic film.

I did contact the seller before and he does post to Malaysia using Royal Mail International Signed For (registered mail, which is safer).

Shipping fee will be £5.00 per patch. Extra patch (if more than 1) will be added £0.25.

Ebay is really testing my resolve at the moment. And just found last season's black kit as is the white kits with Rooney CL's numbering which is really testing my resolve. Found so many other Man United jerseys that I like i.e. the white one from 2003 or was it 2004 as well. The one with the red stripes across and looks like a rugby jersey. Furthermore it's in XXL which is the only one I found so far and is quite hard to find. Well, at least I couldn't find any.Need to start holding myself back or I'll go bankrupt. Heheh. Already spent quite an amount and that's not adding the payment that I have to make for the black kungfu Cantona kit with his name and number that I won yesterday.

I blame schmeichel7. He got me into this jersey collecting business. Hahaha.

Haha.. thanks for the compliments mate.

On serious note.. please be careful with ebay because it can be very very addictive. Use ebay for only looking for retro jerseys or jerseys that are missing in your collection. And try to use debit card instead of credit card because sooner later you might need to clear your credit card debts like myself (trying to clear them back to 0, no worries) and try to control yourself to buying only maximum 2-3 jerseys ONLY.

I do use a debit card. Xnak a hutang2. But have to control a bit. Going to have to go into a semi retirement until end of the month smp gaji masuk blk. Hahaha.

Can someone clear something for me though. All this time I've spent trolling on Ebay. Most of the awesome jerseys, well at least those that I find awesome comes from Hong Kong. What's the deal with that?? Is there something about Hong Kong I don't know??

@jep,
I'm assuming u were taxed? Did you use UPS? If so, UPS will normally pay for your tax 1st and collect the taxed amount from you when they deliver your package to you.

I don't think you can ask for a refund though, maybe the other forummers can help?

Good to hear on that.. What debit card do you use? Mind to share with us? Any requirements needed when you want to apply it?

Regarding about hong kong.. yes.. most are from hong kong because hong kong is the hub for jersey distributions for this region. And also a lot of well known collectors are from hong kong and they too are bright enough to keep the old stocks from time to time and then later resell it..

Nothing to worry about, most of the items are authentic. Only thing is that they have loads of DIY stuff like DIY NNs and match details (or known as 'insigna').

Your purchase was taxed? If yes, sorry to hear that...

If it was taxed, then there is nothing much you can do but pay for it.. They will not refund it unless you return back the item with the filled 'return slip' that comes along in the package.

4) how long does it take for united direct to refund?

RHB Bank. Which is tied straight to my bank A/C where I receive my paltry salary. Wasn't really any requirements, just had to fill up th eform and got it about 2 weeks later.

I see, that would explain a lot why many of the awesome Cantona jerseys are in Hong Kong.

1) you have to post it back la.. use either UPS/Pos Laju or Pos Daftar

UPS is very expensive, cheapest and still safe is Pos Daftar

2) yes.. the postage fee of sending it back

3) yes, email them first (shop@store.manutd.com)

4) not sure.. depends on how long the item arrives..

First of all.. why on earth do you want to return and get it refunded? Just because of extra RM100? And why was this extra RM100 charged at the first place?

Not worth it.. if you want to return and ask for refund just because of RM100.

If your total purchase (including cost of shipping) is less than RM500 you shouldn't be taxed at all. PM bro schmeichel7 for more clarification. I'd definitely make a complaint to Customs. But if after you add the shipping cost it is more than RM500, then like schmeichel7 said it's better to just pay it rather than send it back and so on. It's a huge hassle.

From your pm to me, the total weight is 1kg. I guess this is the reason why they taxed you.

And again.. just take it la.. you already bought 2 jerseys and 1 mug for RM405 including shipping fee.. Imagine if you bought the jersey here, how much does it cost. And the tax is just RM100.. Not RM200 or more like some people.. just pay it la..

Again a reminder to others, the mods of this forum has advised me not to discuss too much on how to avoid tax etc... It is against the rules of LYN forum. Sorry.

I've never done this before mate. United's sponsors are still ok for me..

Anyway if you want to.... as said, maybe you can try using nail polish remover or any form of acid.. Good luck!

Moderation is key here. Don't go on a shopping spree when discounts are offered. Just take it as lesson learned.

I have an Arsenal jersey thats been peeling since i bought it. Thats the first batch jersey which apparently has problems. Anyways, i experimented with different chemicals in trying to remove the FLY EMIRATES sponsor. I've tried using nail polish remover(acetone), thinner and some spirit and all 3 efforts are a failure. I ended up peeling them off by hand. That left an ugly white glue mark behind. Anyways, i only wear them for futsal, so its okla.

To Sifus,
Any idea where I could buy the ManUtd "women" (not boys/kids) current season home kit?
Thinking to buy one for my gf but couldn't see any in KL.
Internet buying would be my last option but hopefully can get it from local stores if possible...hmmm

No, womens jerseys sold out everywhere. Maybe still available in obscure places though. Even online the sizes are very limited already. They rarely reproduce for womens jerseys, and even if they do, very limited stock and sizes.
