Regarding about hong kong.. yes.. most are from hong kong because hong kong is the hub for jersey distributions for this region. And also a lot of well known collectors are from hong kong and they too are bright enough to keep the old stocks from time to time and then later resell it..

Nothing to worry about, most of the items are authentic. Only thing is that they have loads of DIY stuff like DIY NNs and match details (or known as 'insigna').
Your purchase was taxed? If yes, sorry to hear that...

If it was taxed, then there is nothing much you can do but pay for it.. They will not refund it unless you return back the item with the filled 'return slip' that comes along in the package.

If your total purchase (including cost of shipping) is less than RM500 you shouldn't be taxed at all. PM bro schmeichel7 for more clarification. I'd definitely make a complaint to Customs. But if after you add the shipping cost it is more than RM500, then like schmeichel7 said it's better to just pay it rather than send it back and so on. It's a huge hassle.

Yup, that's the info we got last time as well i.e. CIF amount of RM500 and below is exempted from tax. I'm glad to hear that Customs also replied you the same thing. Since your case is legitimate  you shouldn't have to pay it.

Yeah, this is certainly a worrying trend. This is another reason why we're usually better off buying from legit local stores or legit internet stores like Kitbag. eBay has lots of goodies but as they say - 'caveat emptor' or

Kitbag sent me the UEFA Champions 07/08 starball as replacement.
Therefore, I've got an extra seperated Champions 07/08 starball now. 

If it's only one jersey I think no problem, straight pass

In actual the total amount should not be more than RM 500, but I dunno why they want to charge at the first place. Maybe they treat 1 jersey at a market value of RM 259 then 2 shirts is already over the limit given, plus a mug somemore..

I think you've been hit by the "weight" of the mug, not the total amount RM.

But one thing I have to be honest with you, I'm afraid you've have totally no power to argue with them.
You'll still have to pay for it in the end. But well...of course I hope you manage to win the arguement then.

i kena once eventhough i onli bought 1 gk kit from united direct. kena almost 50% of the price i paid for my kit.
then check back the invoice, then there's a column there stated "dutiable item", i'm not sure whether is it due to that particular word which i ended up paying for the tax.

Hei guys...i have ordered 4 jerseys from kitbag and the total amount is 113.53 GBP. Today while i was not at home the UPS guy came and he told my mom to pay them RM 225.59(RM25.00 for disbursement fee and RM200.59 for Duty amount) which i thought its kinda weird for them to charge the tax together under the UPS Invoice. How do i confirm that the Custom has really taxed my parcel and it is not a fraud from whomever ? I just wanna make sure before i pay please someone can clarify this for me ? thx in advance and i am really sad that shiTTs happened...20% sales but on the other hand 40+ % taxed...sad...

It seems that customs are detecting a MASSIVE amount of parcels via UPS coming in from UK.. Hence it could be a bad time to order now.. unfortunately.. I heard people getting taxed for only 2 jerseys.. So it is dependant on your luck
