quite cheap price from ebay, but you only get cd key.

Referring to Mrhulk's earlier link, the onlinekeystore, is there somewhere i can download the client from? Cuz if i pay 80 for a key but no client, thats gonna be a problem

You can download the client installer from the official website, but it wont download the client until you log in with your account. So you will waste 2-3 days of your game time (depend your internut speed) because you have to download the entire client.

or download the open beta client and once you got your key, you can just patch up to the latest.

I got my client from the link above too and the last i used it to install is 2 days ago where i have it installed at my workplace.

emm..already bought it last tuesday..until today stil can't play it..always server down on launcher..can't click the PATCH BUTTON..better WOW...on my account setting still ask to activate my account using activation key..i already activate it when install the game....someone can help my prob??

Hmmm, first of all did you open all the needed ports for CO in firewall?

How did you purchase the game? CD Key only or Digital download?

emm..i bough at midvalley..dvd..rm189..install everything..juz can't run the game..coz when at launcher..always mention server down..redlight..

Have you tried disabling the firewall and run the launcher? What is your ISP?

already try..disable my firewall....same prob..now im at my hometown..will try it again when goin back kl..so sure u can play champions online rite now..coz i read at champion online official forum..at lot of complain..people said only can play 2-3hours only per day then server down..

Ignore those complains, the game is still continue receiving updates and fixes to current problem before they start to roll out content. I get to play the whole day and the downtime usually starts from 5pm to 7pm (local time).

I think its the ISP that caused the "blockage" to access to CO, yeah, try it when you come back to KL.

what the isp for CO?i not sure..even at my account..stil askin me to activate the product number..while i already key in the activation key wen i install the game using cd/dvd..so if i key in again on website..of cos system wil mention the activation key already used..totally dunno..

one more thing at game launcher..at the bottom..always mention 0 shard..what izzit exactly?

Lol same here. i also just bought and installed it....hmmm...

i think shop at midvalley..only selling the activation serial number only..n the dvd only copy by themself..and selling it for xpensive price..coz the cd quality totally looks like cheap..even u show to people outside..they didnt believe it was original games..hahaha..

wait i got it already....after i gave them my credit card details...
same as WoW...they wan authentication details from the user before allowing them to play it...

Added on September 21, 2009, 3:15 amsince im playing this game on a lappy...the game felt a bit laggy. Not due to network but the graphic. When i lower down the graphic, it smoothen...but the graphic is oredi...feel lack of omph....so increase it back.

no network lagging felt so far....

the gameplay is so-so after 3 hours of play...wif 1 hours just designing my HERO...LOL

Heh, its slow at the first few levels, it will pickup as you gain more powers.

Graphic wise, turn off Bloom, turn off shadow, uncheck screen space ambient occlusion, set reflection to low. It still maintain some of the eyecandy sans the extra ones.

I do play CO on a laptop too, a workstation one even (Dell M90) with Quadro FX card and managed to run the game with medium shadow with those listed above disabled. Bloom is the one that could make you blind on most well location and uses up the most horsepower. SSAO is next in the list where it give a dimmer, shadow outline to the objects rendered within the screen vicinity. Any off-screen objects will be ignored.

means need to activate via credit card or gamecard..i thot free for the 1st subscription..i think i already fill up that payment method section..suddenly i want to change the payment method..then i click the delete payment method..after that..there is no payment method for my account CO..huhuhu..so sad..how i gonna play CO when there is no payment method..need help here..my account section only have...product key and buy cryptic point only..huhu

You still can, if you have activated with credit card and deleted the payment info, you can still play for the rest of the day till the 30 days ends. This method applies to all P2P MMOs.
