Hie,

Can recommend a place in klang valley that is good for steaks? Please don't say Victoria station. i've already given up on that place. Food is bad for what i'm paying.

Looking for well aged steaks. Heard prime was good last time. How about now? Couple of my friends told me it's not worth going there.

My preference would be those smaller restaurants where they serve good food and nothing else.

I should say Prime is still the best steak in Malaysia. For basic kind of meat already reach Rm200 for two. If your financial is not a problem, you should try it. Otherwise Argentinian Steakhouse would be good too.

P/S : Wagyu beef is my favorite there

Those who likes steak wouldn't choose Victoria station as there's not much quality control. Italiannies like their name is more meant for pasta and pizza i.e. Italian food. I wouldn't recommend The Ship or Road House either.

A lot had recommended Tony Roma, but still haven't try that out yet.

I'm trying to stay away from VS, ITA, The Ship and San Fran. Frankly, steaks at these places are not steaks. just a slab of meat.

so far maredo looks promising. Any location? From google, i have location ranging from crown regency hotel to hartamas.

Where do you live btw? Actually there is one in Bangsar Village, 1 near KLCC ( I think is situated at Jln P ramlee, same row with Modesto's), Hartamas. Yeah its promising and the price is slightly higher than other major steakhouse. Usually there are a lot of foreigner eat in near KLCC outlet.

Aside from Prime, the other places I would try for good steaks aren't steakhouses but fancy/fusion restaurants who happen to have a steak dish or two. These would be Lafite, Chalet, Frangipani, or Cilantro (whenever it reopens).
