Some update looks like SW 150 are being considered obsolete and not being newly produced. Some places are having good prices for the SW-150.

Desa lyt has Diamond 10 since last year KLIAV.
Even though some people think that diamond 9 is better than 10, it is going to phase out, stock are limited. So grab it fast if you like Dia 9 and can still find it. |

Thanks for the info, yes Diamond 9 still great speaker to me. Sometimes I want to buy others like Monitor Audio BR2 and Mission M3i but afraid that i'll miss the miracles in Diamond 9.
As conclusion, forget about diamond 10 for a while |

My mind keep thinking about mission m33i /m34i floorstanders. These speakers' sensitivity range is about 90-93 db make them louder than Diamond 9 that only 86db. Mission sounds big in movies and give greater impact when we need it.
Diamond 9.1 is not loud but has a lot of fun, sounds very realistic and enjoyable. The supplier has confirmed that Diamond 9 series already out of stock, replaced by Diamond 10s. If you want to get the 9 ones, hurry up, get them in the shop while they still have it This post has been edited by radovantz: Feb 4 2010, 04:32 PM |

i disagree with the idea they replace the port to rear, sound would be reflected by rear walls.
Unlike Diamond 9.1, it can be placed near rear wall as its back is totally closed. This post has been edited by radovantz: Feb 5 2010, 04:51 PM |

Well I agree with you said that the bass is just quite not there, maybe before burn in. I use this as FL & FR with Yammy 663. Will update later after the burn in process.
