QUOTE(lightning69 @ Sep 18 2010, 08:14 PM) Those looking for subs should check out the Paradigm sub. I personally own a SVS PC12Plus sub but 2 months ago, I did a test in my friend's house with my SVS PC12Plus vs Paradigm DSP-3400 and to my surprise the Paradigm can stand toe-to-toe with my PC12Plus. Eventually my friend bought the Paradigm as they are so much cheaper than the PC12Plus. If I am not wrong the PC12Plus is retailing for Rm5800 here while my friend bought his Paradigm DSP-3400 for Rm3500 only. That is significant savings considering the fact that the DSP-3400 sound just as good. You can read up my test done for this sub in the official subwoofer thread HERE. I actually quite like the sound of the DSP-3400 as it is room shaking powerful yet very clean. We tried on movies and music and both sounded great with the DSP-3400 and it never felt boomy at any time. Since the DSP-3400 is a 14"driver which is the top end for that series. I am sure the smaller size one is even cheaper. This is just my opinion because I felt that if I were to purchase another sub, I won't hesitate to choose the DSP-3400 over my PC12Plus. Anyway, here is a link to the paradigm website Paradigm Suband it won't bottom up as easily as some popular sub playing intense scene. the dsp3400 handles LFE like it's not even being pushed. and complements music nicer than some other popular sub
