All of a sudden Chelsea's group looks very tight. Chelsea's game in Bordeaux could be crucial.

Woke up to a worst defeat so far this season. Well, that's football for us. We have up and down, and last night it was our down. But I believe our team will bounce back in no time for sure. Didn't see the match so don't know how the team perform and hopefully they can step up the performance in the next game.

KEEP THE BLUE FLAG FLYING HIGH !

No matter when we win or lost !

First and foremost ..it was an away game therefore whatsoever difficulties expected..

I think our play was okay but we were forced to use long range shooting . however my comment was only valid for the fisrt 20 minutes since i fell asleep abruptly ( dont know y )..kinda shock to see our boys down 3 goals on 2nd half ( woke up suddenly)..looking at the stat, i would say tactically we were okay .. maybe complacency and underestimating Roma contribute to the defeat..however, we blues take it as a man ..defeat is a defeat..no doubt

however we r still topping the table..so no worries..i dunt care as long as we qualify the group stage...

Go Blues..

the defence was so messed up....is like...not organized....
or the roma's counter was too fast?...
vucinic pawn our defence...
and mikel lost to vucinic...
rarely see roma..attack..but once they attack...our team concede goal...

Nothing much to worry since we have another 2 more games to go... Pretty sure Chelsea will sail through. I would be more worried if we lose in the BPL. Roma needed to win since they have been on a lousy start in SerieA and a win for them is a huge boost of confidence and believe. Well to score 3 against Chelsea, that team need to have some big fighting power so congrats to them...

Yup no need to push the panic button just yet. We are top with 7, followed by Roma and Bordeaux with 6 and Cluj with 4. Roma must meet Bordeaux, thus one of them winning will make life difficult for the other. And I think we have the quality to pull through with another draw (v Bordeaux) and win (v Cluj).

In June 2005, Del Horno moved to Chelsea for a fee of £8 million. He won the first league championship of his career at Chelsea, as part of the squad that conquered the 2005-06 English Premier League. He played 34 matches overall for Chelsea, scoring 1 goal, against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.

thanks for this info mate.. i old already to remember that short facts notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

QUOTE(jdreamer @ Nov 4 2008, 10:41 AM)
del Horno was good in the early season and I thought finally an attacking fullback but he went worse and worse later. Nevertheless, he's a good player but not suitable for us.

said thanks to him but what to do.. as you said it bro

Deco sent off for a second yellow for taking the free kick too early. Stupid decision there, but Deco should've gone two minutes earlier for a tackle on De Rossi.

Poor game from Chelsea but really shouldn't hurt their chances of advancing. biggrin.gif

Sometimes 1 of 2 losing game is very normal.. and it also will remind the team they aren't the best yet and hav to do something to work it hard..

Just like last time lose to Liv, and they quickly come back to the winning streak..

And hope this games will teach them a lesson on defending and bcome better and better...

what i noticed this season, chelsea already dropped their point to big club. Liverpool,MU and right now Roma.

This is not good news for Chelsea fans because yes they can win convincingly against average team but failed to win against big team.

Alah just one loss all kecoh already. But what stumped me is lion's share of possession and we only score via JT... Anelka can start pulling the calculator and count whats his possible new transfer amount total value

Can't blame on Anelka or who ever... We have been playing superb... just a minor slip up... due to carelessness and probably it was just a bad day for Chelsea

Come on, you guys sound like we've just lost a competition. We're still top of the group and I have faith in our lads that we'll be through. Cheer up!

Come on, Chels!

yes, a minor slip. Still no 1 in the group and still in the competition. Chelsea will bounce back again and blackburn will be the first victim this week
