QUOTE(ken0777 @ Nov 18 2008, 06:19 PM) Don't look down on Le Sulk... ok??? Use Drogs to bully them kao kao... den later 2nd half when all the opponent players are pancit... put in Le Sulk to bully them!!! Perfect combo la... Anelka not Maradona la! He needs time to grow into the game, sometime 45 minutes ain't enough for him to adapt to the tempo.

QUOTE(ken0777 @ Nov 18 2008, 06:55 PM) For what i observed it the opponent does not play like all 10 players defending at their own half, then Anelka can shine... If the opposing team play more open and thus create space for us to counter, then i can see how Anelka can bully them in that area... He is a finisher which is very dependent on the ability of the midfielder to pass him a nice pass... He is a goal-poacher. I like the way he nicks in the ball. Keeps his cool.

QUOTE(madfag @ Nov 18 2008, 08:56 PM) if it has to be a 4-1-3-2 -------cech------- JB--Car-Ter--AC ------mikel------- JC---Lamps---Mal ----Anel--Drogs-- No Deco and Ballack? No way! Btw, every since JM took our team to the tittle, we have been sticking to the 4-3-3, with one main striker.

QUOTE(ken0777 @ Nov 19 2008, 03:10 AM) I think LFS used this formation once, but not too effective as all of them excel in the center role.

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Nov 19 2008, 07:12 PM) yeah we do need wingers..the old partnership of duff and robben is sorely missed. still remember them scoring goals for fun when both were fit and on form. they can dribble, cross, pass and shoot. amazing players. haih..wonder how things would be if both of them were still with us. too bad they're injury prone Robben is good, but too injury-prone. One match in then five match out injured.

Yes, Cudicini will stand between the post in place of Cech.

QUOTE(ijamz @ Nov 22 2008, 07:27 PM) Me still think Malouda can out-muscle the defender and deserve the starting 11. He has the dribbling ability compared to other chelsea player. Even though he is not as effective as he should. I always wonder why he plays better for France than us. Domenech factor?

Ballack should had put that ball back to the net. Then we will have a 3-points cushion against Liverpool.

QUOTE(ken0777 @ Nov 26 2008, 02:51 AM) Safer to seal the deal by winning the game... we thrashed them badly the previous leg... I don't see the problem is getting a win tomorrow... If they come with a defensive mind, then we have a big problem.

Malouda? He has the class, LFS just need to find a way to fine-tune this once great left winger.

QUOTE(tukerrock @ Nov 28 2008, 12:13 AM) dont play drogba .... he so lazy to chase the balll.... what scolari should do is play malouda and kalou attacking midfield while anelka go single.... should be better .... joe cole doesn't look too promising.... let him be a super sub..... while midfield play lampard and mikel.... deco's form is not good rite now while ballack doesn't look fit enough to face arsenal..... my prediction.... arsenal1 chelsea 2 It's Chelsea 2 Arsenal 1 We playing them at Stamford Bridge. This is a must win game, especially both Man City and Aston Villa had won against them , I see no reason why we can't grab all 3 points. Except the fact that we have loads of under-performers, most notably on the left wing.

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Nov 30 2008, 12:19 AM) they can play in singlets and sarongs for all i care..so long as they win will adebayor play for the gunners? Yes, he will. QUOTE(madfag @ Nov 30 2008, 02:25 AM) i kinda like the black kit and its winning too, i feel that the yellow kit is jinxed though. the orange however seems to be doing some good for cech no comment about the first kit. not sure if ade will be playing. common chels, we need the 3 points! get them! To show our tittle credential, this is a must-win game. People will doubt us if we cant beat all Big 3 at our own home ground!

Didn't manage to watch the game, but the sight of another home defeat struck me hard in the game.
To lose by an offside goal is bad, To lose on our fortress is worse, And to lose to one of our rivals is worst.
Now we failed to beat all the Big 3 on our home ground, and this is obviously a bad sign for Chelsea.
The second was absolutely a lapse of concentration. Van Persie can get a sight on shot even though Lamps marked him closely and to be frank, that was a great goal. Bounce back is the word ringing round the players, and yet there is no sign of revival, yet.

QUOTE(madfag @ Dec 6 2008, 10:52 PM) looks like philly is sending out a broadcast the poldi or villa dream seems to be coming true A striker is a need for us, but there lies a problem. Should we opt for a lone-striker like Villa or a supporting striker which can play along with Anelka who is in the best form of his career? This should be seriously considered by LFS.
