Btw, the key to winning is our midfield. And though our defense has looked quite vulnerable at times, the main thing is that we can't seem to find our scoring touch if the midfielders aren't on form. Wingers, typically have to run deep into defense and troubling them with speed which will open some spaces for Lamps, Deco & Ballack to push upfront.

Our strikers have been great, and with DD coming back to terrorize the defense, I can't see why we couldn't win the match.

Midfield is the key.

Disappointed.
The red card decision was the turning point of the game. Once Terry was sent off, Everton gained much confidence and constantly bombarded our already-vulnerable defense. The players have no choice but to throw a protective shield around Cech and luckily, he rose to the occasion when it needed most. But then this limited our attacking option severely.

I'm really disappointed. But then, this serves as a lesson for LFS to revamp his formation.

Btw, though we have 3 points, I'm still not impressed by our display. We have loads of chances and yet, we didn't take it. Maybe we are lacking some clinical finishes in front of goals?

Mikel and Anelka looked off-form. Towards the end, Mikel made 3 simple errors in which could cost us points if the opposition took the chances.

And Carsson did well yesterday, great positioning and made some great saves. Cech on the other hand? Could be his easiest day.
