QUOTE(afaris @ Dec 18 2008, 04:25 PM)
I agreed. I wish Chelsea could go for Ricardo Quaresma or Frank Ribery. This is my Christmas wishlist
Quaresma? Virtually impossible.Or maybe a swap for DD?

Ranieri is coming back.
Wonder if our fans will give him a good reception like Zola did. |

Arteta should be more of a concern.Vs everton.. the fellaini guy always get good headers.. i think chelsea should b aware of him. And Cadhill as well. Remember how he equalised with the virtually last kick of the game last season at the Bridge? This post has been edited by aaron1kee: Dec 20 2008, 05:29 PM |

QUOTE(Krovaxq @ Dec 22 2008, 10:57 PM) yes madfag...i only wish for our midfielders to play the best among others really =(..its been disappointing in the past few matches.. Not going to wake up tonight. we need a good ignition (midfields) to rev our engine (strikers) .. with our world class midfielders, I really am pleased if we attempts more throughballs to feed our strikers...coz seriously, not many can make nice throughballs, we have Lampard, Joe Cole, Ballack n Deco to fit the bill..so.. fingers crossed for tonite. Btw, the key to winning is our midfield. And though our defense has looked quite vulnerable at times, the main thing is that we can't seem to find our scoring touch if the midfielders aren't on form. Wingers, typically have to run deep into defense and troubling them with speed which will open some spaces for Lamps, Deco & Ballack to push upfront. Our strikers have been great, and with DD coming back to terrorize the defense, I can't see why we couldn't win the match. Midfield is the key. |

Disappointed.
The red card decision was the turning point of the game. Once Terry was sent off, Everton gained much confidence and constantly bombarded our already-vulnerable defense. The players have no choice but to throw a protective shield around Cech and luckily, he rose to the occasion when it needed most. But then this limited our attacking option severely. I'm really disappointed. But then, this serves as a lesson for LFS to revamp his formation. |

QUOTE(gidlcin @ Dec 27 2008, 01:03 AM) why didnt ask the fella to change? Reported for vulgarities.u should have gone up to him n say " eh tambi, tukar chanel chelsea la pukima" Btw, though we have 3 points, I'm still not impressed by our display. We have loads of chances and yet, we didn't take it. Maybe we are lacking some clinical finishes in front of goals? Mikel and Anelka looked off-form. Towards the end, Mikel made 3 simple errors in which could cost us points if the opposition took the chances. And Carsson did well yesterday, great positioning and made some great saves. Cech on the other hand? Could be his easiest day. |

Deco has fared badly AFAIK, yet LFS still keeps faith on him and unsurprisingly, his faith won't be repaid tonight. Deco can't even pass a good simple ball, and two corners kicked straight to Johnson! What happened to him?!
J.Cole has a quiet night as well. Added on December 28, 2008, 10:56 pm QUOTE(reds4torres @ Dec 28 2008, 10:54 PM) One more time of that and you will be on holiday. This post has been edited by aaron1kee: Dec 28 2008, 11:18 PM |

QUOTE(DuO LoN @ Dec 28 2008, 11:34 PM) QUOTE(DuO LoN @ Dec 28 2008, 11:35 PM) Triple posts? Not to mention reported for vulgarities as well. Damn! I reported 3 person in week time for vulgarities! Anyway, Lamps goal was superb and after a slackly first half, we finally see the true Chelsea. This post has been edited by aaron1kee: Dec 28 2008, 11:44 PM |
