2 goals from set-pieces. Not typical Chelsea.
And now we trail by 3 points.

Somehow I miss JM.
Scolari is just not ready for club-level management.

Sell lamps and bring in Podolski

Well. This is absurd.

The fact that he and Terry act as our club inspiration is undeniable. And I see no reason for Lamps to go.

Anyone picked up on the rumour that RA is looking to either sell his yacht or the club?  depressing times indeed for RA then, seeing his fortune slashed approx 80% from 13bn to 2bn...

Looks like a very bleak Jan 2009 for us then...

Another piece worth reading in today's papers is DD's pledge to have a 'beautiful' 2009, of which he also declined to reveal much about his future with us.  Expect more soap operas this summer!
*
Well, if anyone read the dailymail, Scolari had an angry exchange between players in a meeting in which players were allowed to air their grunts.
Basically, many pointed out the fact that DD caused dressing room unrest.

I just hope that RA won't be forced to sell the club due to the financial crisis.

Seems DD is on the verge of leaving the Bridge.

Heard that Chelsea are interested to buy Heskey, he can be a good replacement for DD.

We need someone muscular to open up some spaces upfront.

Heskey, who is rated at 4mil is absolutely a good buy.

actually he is loyal. but only to a man named jose mourinho. in a way u could say he's our 'ronaldo.' blessed with talent..but their hearts lie elsewhere. not many utd fans will admit, but their star man played with so much passion and desire the last couple of seasons compared
to the current one. now it seems like he lacks that certain sparkle on the ball. much like drogba now.
u can see he's trying..but somehow it doesn't look like he's trying hard enough. that's the idea i get when i observe didier after he came
back from injury.
*
Not surprised la. He played his best season under JM guidance and had won virtually every single tittle under JM as well. Being labelled as JM's invisible only further enhanced his loyalty. To be fair, he can be as good as Ronaldinho when he is on form, but when he is not, it's as though we play with one man down, though he may be useful during set-pieces. Still he is responsible for the late goal at Craven Cottage.

He is a man blessed with talents, only if he put it into use then he will succeed.

Is wayne bridge selling  a good sell again if wayne bridge is sold, chelsea dunt have a left back as good as him if cole is injured
*
I actually hate to see Bridge leaves us, he is a really good left-back, possibly second in the world to Ashley Cole?
Too bad that we have two of the best left back in the world and one have to accept that it will be a daunting task to dislodge another.
Bridge, he is still young, though as much as I want him to stay, I have to agree that he will need more exposure to gain experience, instead of sitting on the bench for 2 1/2 years. He is a good lad, and I wish him well. biggrin.gif

NO ONE SELLS MY BRIDGEY!!!

I hated A.Cole when he came because I knew that Bridgey wouldn't get as much time on the pitch like he used to. I felt rather sad when Bridgey was loaned to Fulham and when he came back, he was still benched.

Please don't sell him! cry.gif

But 12mil is a rather good deal.
Heard that RA is targetting Russia's Ronaldinho with the 12mil and 10mil from Alex's sale.

Alright, it's official:

Good news first, Mancienne's loan extension at Wolves wasn't completed eventually, he has been called back by us. If all goes well, he will be in the starting eleven against Southend tomorrow.

Now the sad news, Bridgey has left for Man City. Transfer fee of 12 mil has been agreed and he's just awaiting medical. Kinda disappointed to see him leave but his goal that crashed Arsenal out of the UCL quarter final 5 years ago will always be remembered. Who can forget this?

Follow, follow, follow,
There was only two minutes to go,
It Wayne Bridge's goal that sent us out of control,
And the Arsenal out of Euro!
*
Mancienne is going to do well and probably becomes integral part of Chelsea first eleven, and it's good to hear that Scolari is going to give him a chance! Too bad this game will not be broadcast live! I guess many would want to see how well he does!

For Bridgey, he has given us everything and I salute him! Wish him well in Man City, gonna miss him.

Our young forward Ben Sahar has completed his loan at Pompey and is now set for YET another loan at currently second from the bottom Dutch club De Graafschap until the rest of the season.

Why not allow him to come back?
We should leave some room for the youngsters to groom.

The draw's out. If we managed to progress beyond the FA Cup 3rd round, we will be handed a supposedly 'easy' tie against Ipswich in the 4th round.

Ever since we lost to Burnley, I don't underestimate those so-called 'easy team'.

This 'easy' tie won't be easy either.

Scolari has the qualities of a coach.
But time is his limitation, IMO the management should give him more time to adapt to club management.

Phew, what I game I missed!
Went to mamak but about 99% of the people there support Man Utd.

And never did I thought that we could staged such a dramatic fightback!

It's such a touching moment to see the players and coach hugged each other. Touching.

According to Sky Sports, Robinho stormed out after a disagreement with manager Mark Hughes but it is not known what the argument was in relation to.

IMO, Robinho chose the wrong club since the start.

Too bad that he missed out joining us.
