QUOTE(ccube @ Nov 14 2008, 02:20 PM) sfax, u seems like very der kancheong woh. first time running Pg Bridge?? cool down, cool down. marn man lai !!! and also dont get intimitated by those crazy runners who sprint out very fast, most of them sure KONG one before reaching the mid-span of the bridge. You want effective carbo-load, just walk into KFC and buy a tub of mesh potato and whack it kau2. sure got power the next morning. tats my secret recipe during my younger days of running. EH! This is good idea!!! At least i can have KFC then.... but only can look at the chicken but not eating them.... |

d3vilzzz : Just my opinion, it's better u maintain the program and milleage for 1-2 months before you increase it, so your body can slowly adjust to it and not getting injury. But if you feel ok, may be can do 15km-20km LSD (long, slow, distance) by next month.
Just give it a shoot lo, with this training + power-gel + race day adrenaline, sure you can finish the 20km run (if u not cheong too much This post has been edited by toto4d: Nov 21 2008, 08:37 AM |

d3vilzzz : The RM22 nike elite dry fit is designed to fit the shape of left n right foot, with more cushioning on the heel and forefoot. Generally i find the elite dry-fit is more comfortable than the normal dry-fit.
Metalfreak: Welcome BACK! See you next month at SG. Added on November 23, 2008, 5:45 amshould go for run liao.... today can complete 30k? Added on November 23, 2008, 10:13 amFailed to hit 30k, only done 20k.... hitted by pain in outward of left foot at 10k. (area of mid to heel). Confirmed my pain is caused by Plantar Fasciitis, this is due to overuse of plantar fascia... ( heavy weight + too intense running? )
Luckly looks like not in chronic stage, just having some inflammation. |

d3vilzzz : Yes, the Rm 22 felt much more better than the Rm 15, haha, $$ make the difference. But i still feel more comfortable to run with NB dry-fit sock.
By the way, u may be could visit the foot solution at The Curve to have some test on ur foot. May be ur left/right foot having different size or different gait. The test is free. (if ur shoe size not fitting nice to ur feet, it might lead to some movement (friction) inside ur shoe, thus caused the blister. |

Metalfreak : I think you can visit The Curve to have all those foot scan ...etc, also can get proper measurement of ur shoe size and the width. The 2E is the width, standard size is D, the wider is 2E, then 4E ...etc.
