guys, i've got a question here...

i've notice a lil jumper next to the SATA connector n it states 'limit to 1.5Gs'

wat happens if i take it out? improve performance? any side effects?

a bit clueless bout tis, i tot since the PATA era the jumper's purpose is only for slave/master function... doh.gif

If im not wrong, the jumper its for SATA1 (compatibility wise).. as some motherboard can't work properly by using SATA2 as native.

Cheers and Happy New Year!.. biggrin.gif

dont simply pull out until u know for sure wat the jumper is there for....

check ur manufacturers website for the jumper settings. if it really is at the 1.5gbps slots... then yeah pull it out if ur mobo is compatible with sata 2.

if not...best to just leave it there.
