i just bought a 1TB seagate 32mb .. btw.. how to check the cache buffer size? need software? or can i check from the product id or something?..

wad is reign ??? seagate got 5 year warranty but the WD oni 3 year warranty

Performance wise I dont know, but I prefer WD.

is it true when u do raidO n paritition it will be slower, can any one running raid o can commend.

if u got two WD 640gb under Raid 0 it will be more faster

I am trying to say, when you run RAID O n at the same time you do partition on that same RAID O, can the raid o run slower than raid o without partition.

i did that....had 2*320mb in RAID 0. had 3 paritions...

still fast.

i tot the WD caviar green edition is slower than seagate 32mb...

unless u go for WD caviar black~~ with 5 yrs warranty
