hopefully can be settled with by uninstalling CCC and installing plain drivers only. if not might trade it up for a nvidia card instead. enough of problems with ati cards.

@ray,
yeah, 19" lcds are freaking cheap nowadays. even LG 19" can get for below RM499. Usually how you guys clean up the insides of the system? take out everything and wipe part by part? or do you use some blower or some sort to get the dust out? |

i used vista dual boot with xp too, that time just wanna see how vista looks and how it performs. tested some apps and games, then deleted it already. reverted back to xp sp3. as edmin said, lot of bloatware, takes up resources, and the UAC annoys me...xp sp2/sp3 still serves me well

i saw one few weeks ago in the garage sales. asrock brand. don't know whether still available or not. just checkout there and see..
if looking for new one as far as i know only asrock, biostar and ECS produce boards like this, not too sure what models are they. i think someone here has mentioned it also last time. |

that's gonna be a serious bottleneck if you use hd4850 with the prescott. well, whatever gc you pair with your p4 now is gonna be bottleneck anyway
since your budget is just rm300-400, why don't you go for 9500GT/9600GSO/9600GT? Added on November 22, 2008, 10:12 amlol i think today is your lucky day, mav910623 i believe this is exactly what you are looking for http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/853017 This post has been edited by dlwl: Nov 22 2008, 10:12 AM |

it's quite impossible to find new chipsets with socket 478 already nowadays coz 478 already phased out quite some time ago. older chipsets like the VIA or SIS chipset might still have.
astria, how does windows 7 run on your p4? smooth? |
