seems pretty attractive design.

why don't you get a mobo and hdd instead? since both also give problems tongue.gif or maybe another ide hdd?

isn't VS4121 no more already? now everywhere i see ppl selling VS4221. 4221 looks better eh, the speakers are adjustable and comes with a wireless remote. i just got myself a new set of speakers too for quite a good price, logitech z-4 biggrin.gif

yeah, i compared the z-4 against one altec model yesterday, both selling at the same promo price, in the end decided to take the z-4. reach home my friend borrowed it and blast some techno songs and some movies. i like the treble on this speaker, very clear biggrin.gif

no plans yet so far. currently using onboard sound card. seems sufficient for me now. any difference if i change to those older sb audigy models, i mean those before x-fi?

i saw a few forummers selling oem versions of x-fi pci-e x1 version at garage sales. RM200. the X-Fi Fatality is also around that price rite? cant really afford to get a sound card at that price laugh.gif
my max budget probably around RM80 perhaps sweat.gif

yeah me too, when i was small that time my dad always tell me and my bros to pull out the pc main plug from the power source. now we'll automatically do that when we hear lightning biggrin.gif

as for my hostel usually i don't really bother much unless it's a really kaw storm and lightning laugh.gif
coz if strike also it will strike the main proxy server first tongue.gif

yeah, normally we'll do whatever possible to make it qualify for warranty. my modem was also visited by zeus last time, and with the shop technician's help the modem was sent for warranty and i got back a new unit laugh.gif

probably they just fix what is reported faulty. and maybe in the rma report they didn't mention that the LAN is faulty too biggrin.gif

it's quite cheap though for a card on par with 9800GT/8800GT which are priced around RM400-500.
