Added on October 16, 2008, 8:34 am@edmin,dunno the RAM from HP can make o/c a bit or not. If yes i guess is a great buy though.

Asus low end mobo is really crap la. 1Gb of RAM isn't really sufficient for you for decent gaming.2*1Gb RAM is hard to get too,not only the issue to burn wallet. Last PC in Penang,i saw 1GB RAM only selling RM100 per stick.
*
the price doesnt justify much now... its too expensive for a 1GB peice..

however i bought mine last time, rm 250 for 1gb so i also burn wallet..

256 bits , 512 ddr2 graphic memory ?!!

thats a nice card.. imagine pipelines unlocked tongue.gif

wonder my card similiar to that card or not , 256bit, 256mb ddr3, 16 pipelines... bought second hand rm800 =.=

i recently played Gears of War on highest settings 1024*768.. im satisfied =.=

its like Vista, but much better and lighter smile.gif

i havent tried heavy games such as company of heroes, crysis and all that but i think it fairs much better than vista in terms of performance and services smile.gif

since 2008 allows u to choose what u wan, u dun get a whole load of junk upon installing, unlike vista biggrin.gif

fresh from the oven 9800 was 1.6k? LOL biggrin.gif

If its classified as E class means the processor is running on Prescott core. Where C class means the processor were based on Northwood. thats what im curious with ya siggy where 3.0 Prescott with C class. Hybrid ah? laugh.gif

Ic.. Well.. Are u using the license type? Or.. *hem* type? brows.gif Downloading it now. laugh.gif 1Gb plus only.

P.s: Here u go for the specs of P4. icon_rolleyes.gif

this looks very much like mine ::

Pentium 4 HT 3.0E SL7PM 3000 MHz 1024 KiB 800 MT/s 15× 1.25/1.4 V 89 W Socket 478

mine is definitely L2 - 1024 kb cache

C is all 512 cache, which is defiinitely not mine biggrin.gif

the other 1024 cache is 533 fsb, not like mine 800 biggrin.gif

oh wow, i can change my C to E liao like this biggrin.gif

-----

regarding the windows 2008, i have company license for that so i can install 1 instance of it anywhere. smile.gif

yup, its about 1.8 gb+

i have microsoft CD's for 32bit & 64bit 2008 but im using 32 bit one..

Usually Northwood processor only has 512kb cache. The easiest way to determine the core based.
