Only phone with accelerometer will work so e71 is a no no . Ah man, my phone soft button around the D-pad starting to create creaking sound. Should I send it for repair? Takut takut my phone will get scratch in the repair process .

After listening to all your stories I'm kinda scare to send it for repair . The problem is not serious but the sound is annoying. Not really sound like creaking but is more like soft sticky plastic touching the circuit board surface on and off. Baru 1 month ++, still cantik cantik condition . In dilemma now .

Yeh, go sound them. You paid for an Original set with higher price. If they can't fix it, demand a new set .

You getting Nokia 5800 XpressMusic? Damn tempting the price now. Atlantis at SS2 PJ is selling Avaxx set for RM13xx. I wonder if I should sell my e66 to get it .

Yah cause its a Xpress Music line phone. RM13xx for original set is really damn tempting. Drop by the 5800 topic and see how many ppl had gone crazy for this phone including me .

Backup everything first and soft reset your phone. Or update to the latest firmware and then soft reset again your phone (updating to the latest firmware still keep your original setting, so a soft reset is required). I do have some problem with my phone OS but after I reset it, smooth running till now. IMPORTANT, new firmware does not allow you to hack you phone so if you need to hack then do not update.

Do not install to many unnecessary software especially the *ahem* version one. I did try to update my Quick Office to version 6 (*ahem version* ) and my phone crash. Lucky I was still able to soft reset it or else my phone have to masuk kilang .

Huhuhuhu, CK also kena poison jor. Sam yuk yuk want to get 1 ?? The price might increase once Zitron release theirs as the demand for 5800 is rising like mad. As Avaxx set had lots of problem with high low volume issue, I do hope it won't happen on the Zitron set.

I do believe the price will go down after CNY. Beside, more new phones will be release soon so Nokia might want to dump all their old stock fast .

I don't know about e71 battery performance but I'm pairing my e66 with Motorola S605 bluetooth headset . 1 hour of non stop music (without any calls, WiFi, GPS, or SMS) drain 1 bar of my battery. After 7 hours++ the phone battery kaput straight .

Added on January 10, 2009, 5:55 amKeep the 5800 first and wait for the new E-series model or something better. I also plan to get 5800 but after I play around with it, I feel e66/71 built quality can kill that phone easily. The touch screen function is fun, the screen size is big and nice for viewing movie/web browsing and the sound quality plus the camera performance is much better then e66.

Yet, after a long deep thinking, I don't really need all those function . Plus like what you said, the size of the 5800 is thick and bulky for me too. I put my phone in my pocket most of the time, so bulky phone is a no no .

I shall wait for E-series touch screen phone instate .

You have to connect your phone to your pc with USB cable and choose 'mass storage' option. Then go to G:\sys\bin (your memory card folder) and you will be able to find the CardRunner.dll file.

Guys check out the latest firmware for E66/71, version 200.21.118 (26-11-08). They fix a white background color for the contact but your theme color no longer applicable for it . Well I don't mind as long I can see the contact name. Currently only Europe product code can download them.

Feel free to check it out . After updating the firmware on my phone, most of the function run faster and more stable . Haven't try out the photo quality yet.

Err you better send it for checking, could be your hardware problem. I'm using the latest firmware version (200.21.118), no buzz sound, no problem (touch wood ).

Err I kept long finger nails so my navigation pad got scratch because of it . Still, no one knows the price for it? Also, do they sell the metal battery cover? Might want to get the white version one .

You need to know what you really want from your phone. If you want to take good photos, then get C905 or Samsung monster phone, Innov8. If you want small, compact and executive look, you can choose e66 (white color rocks ). If you are a power user who call, sms and e-mail alot then get e71 instate. If you are looking for full multimedia features, go for nseries line (recommend n85 but I would suggest you to hold your horses first as there will be a remake n85 with Xenon light ).

Benzee, your firmware is for Asia or Europe? If is Asia, does it support easy dialing feature ??

Check your itemize bill first. Your gf might have subscribed some sort of advertisement company or those SMS company which required u to paid a fix monthly amount for its services which she doesn't even know about it. Check all the program she installed on the phone if they were to auto connect to the internet for updates or data transfer in its setting. Does she have a sub line under her, it could be the causes as well. A phone will NEVER cause your bill to increase, the owner/user normally does .

Go to digi website and log on into your gf's OCS account. From there you can view the itemised statement under My Services section. You have to check your bill first else we can't help much .

Better send your phone for checking. Don't use magnetic pouch, not good for phone (microchip inside the phone is sensitive).

Errr, mind elaborate why garmin is not supported? All of us here were using GARMIN on our e66 all this while, no problem, 'mei wen ti' .
