just got my e66 few days ago. i've been experiencing some lines on the camera / video mode when it is low light.

my compared to my fren's e71 - it is clear (no disturbing lines)

fyi, the lines appear after the photo is taken as well.

but i've been reading good comments about the camera. does my unit have a problem?

Re-update the firmware can help getting back the font style and my chinese input? could it be because it's an Ap set and originally it doesn't come with the chinese input? Thanks in advance.!

one of my friends e66(white) have some problem. she doesn't seem to be able to set the personalized ringing tone to each of her contact. Everytime when wanna set, it doesn't display the songs she had in her phone. it only display default and download.

Dear E66 users,

Today, I just found out that my LCD screen in my E66 crack till half vertically. Screw!!!     Called up Nokia Store at Sunway at they said it takes 1-2 hours to repair it and it might cost RM150++   the warranty is for "no labour" charge only.    going over tomorrow and did I heard there is another update from 200 fw?

Do you guys have this problem sometimes the phone will scan for wireless even though you have set off the scanning? Is my phone get possessed? ahahahah

P/S: dont buy a pouch which has magnet ... guess what because the magnet my screen cracked!!! going to revert back to normal pouch 

Last time My Nokia 6680 lcd crack den i send for warranty and next day is expiry day for warranty. They replaced the lcd FOC..

Thanks kwkean. Between, does all E66 comes with the predictive number search function at the main screen ? Or it's impossible to have that function for those firmware with chinese simplified firmware?

not yet use it
as i dun like the communications log details record
i realize tht nokia (symbian 3rd edition) have the same type on this communications log record. which we cant delete the log transaction one by one.. grr!!

im a samsung user earlier.. still use my old phone coz i thiking of to change my new e66 to others..

I waited for the technician to come back from lunch last friday until I want to kill him. I was at Nokia Store Sunway at 3pm and I was told that the technicians were out for lunch. I was wondering why all of them can go out for lunch in one time   Then they ask me to come back later so at 4PM I went back and check out the service center is still close so I went back around 5pm and they're still at lunch time when I ask one of the people working there.

I was so piss off and I tell them.. " I come here around 3pm and you tell me they're out for lunch and I come over at 4pm they're still close for lunch and now is 5pm you tell me that they're on lunch break? HOW can this be??? I have been waiting for almost 3 hours !!! " then they only bring me in the service center and register and ask me come back later to pick up in one hour time. After an hour no call from them and it was almost 7pm. I went back and the guy who register saw me only get his a@@@@ to take my phone out for me.

I have a really really bad experiance with Nokia Service Center.. Gosh!!!

after my 2nd repair, they have change a new battery for me... but it's didnt help... the battery is reduce 1 bar for every 3~4hours... full charge 7 bars can last for almost 1 day...

2nd thing is the display of my screen (light sensor) has some problem after my 1st repair ( they hv changed my hp's camera) somtimes the screen will become a bit dim than usual then it will back to normal...

i complained it to NCC during my 2nd repair, they hv changed the ribon and modular for the purpose of resolve the light display problem. after changing it, the problem is occur... thinking to send it to them for the 3rd time...

i think they need to change all the parts of my hp to resolve my problems....

after lodge several complains to NCC via email, they finally appointed someone to called me personally to attend for my battery problem. they requested me to send my hp to NCC again for checking... well, hopefully they can found out the problem this time...

about the light sensor issue was the brightness of the screen will changes...suddenly very bright, suddenly quite dim... this problem occurred after my 1st repair.

P/S: Sell it?? for how much?? who wants a hp which has camera,ribon,module,battery changes for only 1 month old?? just now NCC can find an solution to resolve my problem la..

Hi guys, can i check with u guys, how long ur battery need to charge from flat to full? It took me about 2.5hours... is that normal?
My old e65 only 1.5 hour...

Another problem, why i can't do hard reset? i press *#7870#, it shown "request not completed". Anyone know why?

hi all...how come this slider phone only slides half way open and need to manually push it up to reveal the whole keypad...is it made to be so?
and when i slide it close, it still leaves some small gap at the bottom, need to manually push it down to close the gap...
its not so springy feel...

can any1 explain? is all e66 like this?
