cause 2 weeks ago I went to the Sunway one and complaint about my battery. They just reinstalled the firmware for me and it is the old version. They said if the problem persists, I've to go to the headquarter in Jalan Imbi.

I'll go to Plaza Berjaya one then...

my mum juz bought e66 last week..
and got battery problem...
she use juz only to text and call...
but can last up to less than a day only...
this is normal??

should i go NCC??
did the saleperson scammed us?

I not sure for your case... but I think is better to send to the Nokia service center and check with them...

as per my earlier post...NCC staff admitted to me saying that E66 n E71 has this common problem-battery draining fast..till today my problem still not solved

Added on July 21, 2009, 10:20 amI think the main culprit is Garmin which eats up the current from my E66 battery...

I experiment it this way...try not to on Garmin after I've full charged my battery. Yes..it last for 2 day. Its true...

The next experiment is ..when I switch Garmin ..then switch off I ve to switch off my E66 an take out the battery for a few minutes. This will switch of any TSR program run by garmin.

May be the TSR application which causes the battery draining fast.

Hi, new E66 user here, i have problem connecting my phone to PC Suite, no problem with installation & my PC shown connected to PC Suite, but problem is PC Suite cant read my phone message folder & Contacts!! any idea? any expert can help ...

try install some app and pop out
"unable to execute file for security reasons"
why??

i came across the same problem that day....but culdn't remember how I manage to re-install..I did remove the the old garmin and reinstall...thats it..it works after that..

got e66 from ncc and still battery life dun last even a day...
full charged morning n nite already 1 bar left....
or nite time half full next morning no alarm = battery dead...
why??

sent NCC changed camera module...

yes ..thats what NCC claim..change camera module..my case they change the whole motherboard...just a slight improvement..but do not activate garmin....if garmin was actvated...will last for 12 hrs only.
this model, E66 a failure....regret buying this model..really regret...

for sure u got dud units.

New owner here, very happy with the phone. Previously had E65. E66 looks much nicer. :-)

Only complains are the provided pouch doesn't come with a belt clip and I can't use my own headphones on the phone, have to stick with the bundled crappy earphones.

My colleague just get his E66 Avaxx set, however the unit encounter a problem
When key in *#0000#, the screen didnt appear the firmware, so on for *#06# and others *#....#.

Does anyone have solution for this before sending to Nokia Center? Appreaciate for any feedback.

try restart the phone and key in again..

I think it is a bug, it happens in every version of firmware I used. Sometimes restart does not work. You need to introduce a bit of delay during the restart process. Turn on PIN request. When the phone ask for PIN, don't key in immediately, wait about 15 sec or so before keying in. If it still doesn't work wait a little bit longer. That what I do, works every time.

if i use the maximum memory for e66 will it give me problems like the phone will always hang due to max memory??
