Anyone that is using Mac computer can help?

Thanks in advance.

You can try using iSync. This program can easily synchronize the S60-powered phones with the Mac computer.

You can also try out this program call Missing Sync

iSync comes with the Mac OSX. However, to use with E66, you need to download the plugin. Available free for download from Nokia site

Anyone experienced battery draining issues with this phone?

This is the 2nd time it happens. I had it fully charged and the phone is in offline mode. Battery low warning comes on about 8 hours later.

The first time it was online with no calls and it drained in around 12 hours.

I don't think I had any other programs running. I should have ran nokia energy profiler when I happened. Will remember to do that the next time it happens.

if u read thru this whole thread, there's some files u can delete to prolong ur battery life. Apart frm that, E66 battery life is shorter than other phones.

The files only refer to Garmin. I did not have Garmin installed. Besides lasting only 8 hours in offline mode & no program running is not normal. A reboot seems to fix the problem until it happens again.

Did you charge your battery for at least 5 hours when you first got it? I was told that this is required on the first charge. If this was done and you still experience it, then it could be that the battery is faulty. Have them replace from the shop you bought your hp from.

I also noticed that the battery on the E66 does not last as long as other hp. vmad.gif

If you installed GMXT on your phone and you want the battey life stays longer... Follw the step below to removed some files...

The new garmin kills the battery life on our phones. There is a program called TSRAutostart.exe that is draining the battery. If you have jbtaskman and kill the process, it will just start again when you restart your phone. Here is a solution to stop that file from automatically starting, thus greatly increasing your battery life.

To stop that file from restarting, plug your phone into your computer and use the mass storage setting. Then, delete these two files

\sys\bin\CardRunner.dll
\resource\plugins\CardRunner.RSC

This will stop that battery hog file from starting up. If you install jbtaskman you can kill the process after your run garmin. This will increase your battery. It works for me, and i use the N82...

I don't think its a battery issue. Rebooted & charged this morning. Until now still full bar!!

I would suspect that the some radio (wifi/GPS/bluetooth/phone) remained on even though the phone shows that everything is off. ie the phone was unable to turn them off thus draining the battery.

It could be but as I say before, I don't think I have any apps running, otherwise it would be happenning all the time and not just the couple of times I experienced.
The 3rd party apps in the backgroung are Jbak TaskMan & AutoProfiles.

frm ur explanation, it seems ur battery life is quite unpredictable..like u say, rebooting will solve the problem then it'll happen again. So perhaps u shud send ur phone for medical check-up..
