if u want to breed ur hammy, make sure u'll have enough room for them... smile.gif good luck buddy.

this is my roommate (from Syrian A.K.A Todd) n her home..still have no wheel coz I'm still looking for the most suitable wheel for my hammy. any comments about her home is most welcome as I still need public opinion on how to create the most convenient/pleasant environment for my new roommates.

My Scratchy had issues with her old cage, so I got her a new one today smile.gif She seems to love it, happily running around checking out her new toys and hideouts and her new Wodent Wheel smile.gif

Here's some pics.

She does seem a lot happier in this new tank. In her old Habitrail Safari, she often gets agitated by the lack of space to run around, and end up biting the bars until I take her out and let her run in the "common hamster playpen" (a tupperware box with some toys). And she'd also squeeze in between the bars and the wheel, and because her fur is oily, the bars get oily and when I clean her, she goes back in there and gets oily and dirty and her fur ends up looking like a hedgehog doh.gif

Yes, that's the 2ft tank or guppy tank or plastic fish tank we are talking about all the time. The wheel inside this tank is wodent wheel. Best wheel for Syrian hamsters. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

She bought it from Pet Shack, the boss drilled the hole for her to hang the bottle. All done, she just need to pay and walk away with everything only.

Yah, he drilled the hole for me, and gave me a suction cup and plastic ties to tie the bottle to mount the bottle on the outer side of the cage.

Wah, how you know I bought from Pet Shack?

need ideas on decorating my tank.. which shop should go to?

So far the 2 places I notice that have a good array of hamster toys and accessories are PLC (in Ikano and Sunway) as well as Pet Shack. Personally I prefer Pet Shack as the owners are very friendly and can share a lot about hamster care with you, as compared to the retail-chain setup of PLC.

Err roughly RM45-50 (somewhere there) I think. Can't remember cos I literally went in there, said hi to Jack and Joan, chit chatted about other stuff, looked around, told them what I need, chit chat even more, look around even more, chit chat even more and then finally paid. I don't think I even asked how much each item was. Just pay the lump sum and go tongue.gif But knowing Pet Shack, I know they won't cheat me in terms of price lah. Just while I was there, there was this particular product that they had, which I saw the exact same thing in a different shop in Damansara who were charging at least double of what Pet Shack is charging for.
