I have done my survey at Iconic Vacation Club (located at Midvalley) on 7-Mar-2014. As their promised, they will give 2D1N stay for 2 pax at Golden Palm Tree Iconic Resort & Spa - Travelers Palm Villa (Room only).

I try to book my room on the date (as what voucher stated only applicable on weekdays) i wishes, but after a few mail, all the weekday date I selected is not available and as well I asked the management give me the date is available. Below are the respond from IVC team and I felt they are cheating the customer for free survey.

The email is well received,this Complimentary Stay Voucher issuing by Iconic Vacation Club and our inventory already fully booked up to Month of Sept 2014.

As we work on a basis of a certain number of rooms for our Complimentary Stay Voucher holder per day.This complimentary stay voucher is applied to weekdays (Monday - Thursdays) only not applicable during Eve-Public Holidays , Public Holidays or School Holidays.

The condition is clearly stated in the voucher that our rooms are limited and it is on a first come, first served basis as a room are limited i.e Traveler Palm Villa and this voucher does not guarantee a room booking or reservation as your already agree our Term & Condition (with signature).

Therefore, we are unable to advise the availability of Room (Traveler Palm Villa) also we are unable to extend the validity of the Voucher.

We thank you for your understanding and Sorry for any inconvenience may caused you.

After the entire email, they claim that no room which already fully booked up to Month of Sept 2014 and the voucher only valid for 6 months from the date of issue. Then what is the point keep telling customer you can get free room??

they jz called me up today and ask to get the free stay voucher, they mentioned no timesharing/membership to be sold, jz go to give feedback and then take voucher back, is that true? i been to many hotel/office about the vacation club and initially said only take less than an hour, but ended up few hours there  - their so called managers/seniors came to persuade u and psycho u to sign-up..

All Time sharing vacation clubs are almost the same...lure u & sweet talk you...Once u joined them, all the promises not fulfill suc as:

1) Promised 7 days stay but din mentioned only 2 days weekend!!
2) The ever increase yearly maintenance fee...Ranging from RM270 & higher but no renovation as promised
3) U need to book early (Atleast 6-9mth in advance or else no unit available
4) After taking a/c the oppotunity cost on the advances paid, the cost per room which they said about RM70-RM90 per day actually can comes to RM100/day instead...(OK-lah but not as cheap as u expected)
5) No breakfast..u hv to buy your own so if added in the room cost probably RM150!!

Hi guys, I just signed up for Swiss garden VC. I just paid the installment and felt so regretted about it. Could anyone can tell me, if I give up the membership and don't want to pay rest of the money what will happen? Is it compulsory to pay all the money?
