no. its not thangkai. its tibetan holy picture called thangka. its a buddha painting. i got thangkai, long po thot, long po kun, ah chan to and many many more... different buddha got different power. not only got the 4 lines but oso got 9 lines and etc. the more the better.

it have several about those thai pendant,and yes,every each of them have thier own ablities,depend on wat do you need for?

well certainly, the power on it,u will feel the changes after you using it..
just like i have own a butterfly amulet,the ablities are given the improve good relationship with opposite sex(bythat time i was broken up,so i purchase it according to a supplier who got know from my best friend)
therefore after i worn for sometimes...my relationship are getting good as i expected..
its not to say she will automatically approraching you,is it will make them to have good impression and have a nice/comfortable feelling to you,just the effect that the amulet does..but of cos u need to take action first..

and bytheway,as i know,most of the thai amulet cannot simply to buy..
some are good and some are bad.be precaution before you purchase any thai amulet,ask probraly about the details.

those are known as "barang" for thai amulet collectors.. those amulet are not really considered as thai buddhism..mainly used for opposite attraction...or just plain attraction..the one looks like genitals are called phaladkit..

I just starting to pray with Thai god.....Somdej actually is not in 4 lines.....that should be 3,5,7,9,12 or 15 lines......

i m not a pro in this but i did tried wearing 1. Initially i dun believe in this at all. Me ex got a car pendent for me and she hang it in my car. I got one from a fren of mine at RM30. I travel alot from north to south and the other way round. I dun believe this much until several time... i nearly involve in an accident, someone calls me. Ya amazing. You wont believe me! I am very sleepy tat time while driving and i slept approx 3 to 4 second and so sudden someone calls me and someone put his hand on my shoulder to wake me up. Initially i tot it was only a dream or somehow coinsident that this would happen. SOmehow... it happen to me several times which really makes me trust on it.
I was so crazy about this tat time and insisted to purchase another one pendent with the thought that it may help me more than what i have now. The seller told me that pendent will choose the owner and if it doesnt suits you, you will feel the discomfort while wearing it. I bought the second pendent the one with both hands covering the face. That one is to help you in any difficulties, gives you fighting spirits, firm on anything and fight till you win. I quickly put it on and wallup.. i cant sit and work on that day. I feel like... someone or something is making me angry and find fault easily. i force myself to wear it 30 minutes but the end i give up cos i nearly involve in a fight with my frens. See .... it happens. Well... nothing can explain this.

Working from north to south.. i met alot of frens and once i met 2 thai guys that so close to me. Both are frenly to me. 1 is very very very strict person and everyone i mean his staff is so scare of him but i didnt notice anything that he has that could make these ppl scare of him. While the other... damn plenty gals crazy about him. Especially the pretty malay gals. Well i mix with them for sometimes and the young one (the one gals crazy about) he is about to turn to 40 but damn he looks like 30s. I tried to talk to him many times what is the secret behind but he refused to tell. I took my sweet time knowing him for months then i askhim out for fishing. WOW.. he told me everythign abotu these 2 person. ITS ALL about mantra. a set of prayers they did everytime they come to work. Mantra that makes ppl likes you, crazy about u, love u, keeps you young and of course scare of you. AND they did the mantra everyday. I tried many time asking him to give me some to try but he warn me that this is not a normal mantra that can be read and do as what you wish. i ask him to share with me 1 that easy and not that harmful. And he did after 1 month i begging. He refuse to tell me in person but wrote it down in a piece of paper and hand over to me. I try to open it but he tells me to read it somewhere else and do not ever reveal this to anyone that he is the one to spread it. AND of course, the mantra will brings u sin for everytime you read it. Karma? yes it put bad karma to you everytime you read it. He told me to memorized it and throw it away. I did. He says i need to read the mantra 3 times before lunch, breakfast and dinner. But to expect for the worse in time to come. And yes it happen to me. I tried tat time and really i do look young and everyone never believe my age and tat time... gals are everywhere around me not like bfore. After knwoing the bad deed... i stop calling for the mantra until now even i still can remember every single word or it. Believe it or not ... up to u!

- the 2nd pendant that you rented is called phra pitda, what you say is half right..it does help you in any difficulties is mostly correct(alot of those that jalan the illegal road likes to pray pitda..), the temper/attitude issues, well depends on individual, i think pitda will give you confidence,not to the extend of bad attitude,maybe something evil went inside?

The elephant god is called Phra Bhikanesura/Ganesha..gods of Hinduism and was believed to be the God of prosperity and wealth...this year in thailand is making some Ganesha/Pikanet..

you can always pray pray at wat chetawan, jalan gasing, pj...they have monks to hear you out/blessing..and then maybe when you can afford,then can go thailand and fufill your promises etc.. if amulet/god...i think most out there also are able to help you.jtk/jatukam ramathep together with phra rahu..are known for changing luck/smooth sailing in work..dont need to rent those super expensive...it is belif that gods upthere are fair..even those cheap amulet like thb 30 are able to help people out..

As i am an idiot regarding all these amulet... i don't know how to differentiate a real 1 and fake amulet (and personally i feel that going to temple, pray, and got it there... shows much more sincerity)
And it will definitely make me feel much more confident...

er, renting is a better word to say..technically it is buying..you pay, and you wear with faith,if no faith as well give back to temple loh..
er,so where are you from?i believe there is some siam temple at ipoh,penang etc etc..

there is a counter where you can rent some amulet,after renting you can bring it to a monk,give it some blessing,some will give it extra boost by signing the amulet.. after that return to you.recieve it with both hands,give some money inside angpau,put it inside a donation box if any,if not place it onto the golden tray..

if you want to rent amulets that is really effective and not fakes, rent it from temple's amulet counters,if you get fakes there really no help loh.. there is some websites/mags that you can refer to check on codes etc..
there is no best..unless you are refering to a somdej.. maybe one monk is good on one yantra,another is expertise on another..together they will join and make one amulet batch, with big ceremony etc..something like the jatukam's ceremony..

different people will have different effect,some people cannot wear pitda,some can..some effect will be instant,some will not.
eg- if a person having bad luck..wear the amulet..maybe will change his\her luck instantly..
another person wearing the same amulet,maybe will take longer time, or he will feel uneasy..

sometimes some amulet will only help you when it is needed,eg emergency. like going to have an accident,but you missed, langgar kereta,but just got a few scratches..

If u really wan those amulet is really powerful,should get from the Monk in the temple.

Guman Thong actually is a spirit,u need to really take care of it and i will get more luck and fortune.If not u will be damn bad luck for your life!
So make sure u think wisely be "rent" is from the master.....

hello whocares, if you really want to be sure that amulets are rented out from the temple.,ask them for prove, eg, photos of them in the wat,or best if recieving the amulets from the luang phor, arjan or temple monk.....but it is not 100% as there is always chances of remake...

yes i have heard of guman thong...made by khun phean....hard to find roast babies now..can ask arjan can replace with kenny rogers roaster chicken mou..hehe.....not everyone can handle guman thong..if i am not mistaken there is actually 3 types of GMT...some use to jaga rumah,some use to find money..by hook or by crook..if you can control them..good for you..if you cant..well i can say all the best to you there is a kartha to subdue them...and they are afraid of those warrior god like "kwan kung"..general kwan or hing tin siong tai etc...i got one kawan got GMT..when he enters the temple..the monk sitting there told him...tell your child to stay outside(lucky is buddhist temple,if taoism temple,comfirm the GMT gone case liao..)..so the very next time he wants to visit,gotta tell the GMT to stay at home,else kena rotan

there is wat chetawan at jalan gasing(if you read there is a plague outside the main temple door,the buddha statue is donated by the thai king..i dont think that temple will cheat you but i dont hold for the amulet counter la..hehehehe)..there is one more wat at jalan pahang,nearby jalan pahang roundabout..there is one near pudu..brickfields..
sri petaling 1 is at endah parade,if i am not mistaken...is 3rd floor..(belum rent amulet from there b4..been for ear wax long time ago,dont know shop still exist)

ear wax is a form of theraphy..they lit a wax candle with a hole in the middle,by the end of the waxxing all the dirty stuff like dust and ear wax will come out...

er,just treat it with respect,if i am not mistaken, try not to wear it to clubs,pubs,massage parlours etc..as jatukam is a more yang kinda god..same goes for luang por thuad, as for takrut,tangkai etc will be ok..
put it on altar when not wearing it,better not bring it to bedroom (unless ure single..) dont wear it while making out with gf/bf..if can hant the mantra everyday..if you are brave..wear it outside of shirt,showing off your jtk instead of wearing it inside..i normally wear it outside...i do get occasional stares but used to it..(if you see a guy wearing jtk outside in kl..with gold color chain 90% is meeee..eheheheh) i will post and pm you the mantra tomorrow.... er why not you post or send me the photos...i am no expert but maybe got a few ways to see..

i think its not wise to try knifing yourself..amulets normally protects you in sense of danger eg,about have accidents..etc.if you knife yourself in purpose,i doubt it will work.. not all JTK are made to protect danger..maybe some is for wealth(although there is some kartha in it to protect you from danger) ..sure thing..looking forward to see your newly rented amulet..

Was reading through this thread I'm not familiar with the other statues but am familiar with Luang Pu Tuad. I have a small figure in my house. As far as I know this Luang Pu Tuad can't really be considered a "god" but was a famous Buddhist monk in Thailand.

He is highly respected and there is a temple dedicated to him in Thailand.

After his passing he made a vow as a great being to protect those that are following the Buddhist teaching and doing good and being kind to others. These things work only if we are good and do good things and have faith in them.

what you say is correct. LPT is a famous monk in thailand/malaysia/singapore...alot of people pay respect to him..
actually all buddha material/taoism material ....religon is deserved to be treated with respect...and it will protect you if you have faith in them..

hmm, didn't know got girls into this kind of things also, but anyway i got a few friends who really into this kind of things...

and 1 of it he have, cost more then 15k =.= and he said when he went to thailand, one of the master there saw it and went straight to him and asked where he got it, said that its very very powerful and some people who know stuffs offered him 80k for it, but he never sell

actually i have a question,example one of my friend ''rented'' one of the pendant,but she doesnt want to continue with it. what is the best way to return? she did think to throw it away but what happen next?

If she doesnt wan to continue,she can put aside in the room or maybe u can give it to her friend.Make sure her friend give some 'lai si' angpau back to the owner

to p00t p00t,ever thought that maybe the pendant was actually hinting her that she will be having an accident soon..i think that everything happens for a reason..sometimes maybe our fate\luck is really bad..but because we wear amulets.pendant.talisman and together with our good deeds,the amulets will be able to help us...for example..maybe our luck is really bad and will get into the accident..maybe in that cycle we will loose an arm or leg...but instead we just got a broken arm...think of it as a mega sales with 50% discount..hehe
the best way to return the pendant is to return to the temple that she acquired,or just give to temple.. dont throw away as it is a disrespect to buddha images..if she wants to keep it,its okay,just give to monk and pray pray..then keep at home..

i think its not khun paen amulet itself,its a yantra by a monk..representing khun pean..khun pean amulets normally is a buddha image and if you observe bottom left and right,there is a pair of gumanthong workshipping the buddha..

What Maloa says is true... sometimes these things lessen the bad things that are supposed to happen. Can you all please tell me more about renting amulets ? How does it work ?

what do you need to know about renting amulets? if you are renting from temples,proceed to the temple amulet corner,choose the ones you like..then goto temple pass to monk and offer prayers,then if you feel nice,give the monk "tambun"/donation..put the money in an ang pao and put on the tray,monks are not allowed to be given $ directly if i am not mistaken,if you are renting from shop,just choose,pay..some even offer prayers after u rent..

if really wanted to get the gods protection, it is best to do more good, like go for donation, help other people more, teach people to do good, stop doing evil your-self....then the protective god will come near you.

do you believe in cause and effect, things happen for a reason. when you claim you have an incident of bad luck, have you try to understand why it happen?

do some study in the internet on benefits of "metta bhavana", you will understand.

if not maybe can get amulet shops to get you loh,but ofcoz its gonna be abit exp loh..

what you say its true..amulet is just to give you an extra boost if you have trouble..its like a calling card from a specific deity when you have trouble..the cause and effect is also known as one karma....and when you did alot of bad things and when karma comes to you for the "late payments" you will suffer 100X more because nobody can escape from karma..even the lord buddha cannot protect you,rest alone amulets..if you did some good deeds in times,maybe when karma comes for late payments...it wont be as bad...maybe amulet can help you in discount provided sincerity is there ..but you might wonder...why some people did so many bad things but there is still no karma on them...yet..well some maybe did help alot of ppl in previous life..so this life can take advantage loh..some people are born to be on the yin side,the world is balance,when you have good you have bad..look at the "pagua" yin and yang..totally opposite.i have friends that work as normal office ppl but always kena sotong or something will happen,but when they touches bookie stuff,loanshark stuff..they become very rich...another case is..they do alot of donations..to do advance payment for the bad karma they do..example that i know of,one of the top "powder" dealer in some country do alot of donations..a monk might need some money to build temple,he might donate 100k or 1mil or more..etcetc
as for me..i believe,dont do to others what you dont like people doing to you..

- This is not a Khun Phen, it's called Lak Yong. It's an evil thing or matter, should I say. Do not wear this, I beg of you. Wearing Khun Phen is good enough, if you wear Lak Yong, it's as good as selling your soul to the devil. This is something which I myself don't touch at all.

By the way, here are some examples which I would not wear and will not wear ;

1. Phra Gunn - (there are actually seven kind of them, and it's actually depicting a "Buddha wearing a Hat sideways)
2. Lak Yong - (An image of a man and a women holding and kissing each other)
3. Khoo Man Tong - (Son of Khun Phen, it's actually spirits of infants who died during birth/after birth, and if you know how it's being made, I am sure any normal human being with a hert won't have the heart to wear it)
4. Khoo Man Ni (or also aka Khoo Man Li) - (Daughter of Khun Phen, somehow from what I know from the HISTORIES, Khun Phen only killed his lover's child, who is a boy, so I am not too sure how this came into the picture as well)

Do not purchase Buddha pendants from anyone whom you are unfamiliar with. Buddha pendants can be obtained from a authentic thai temple, if you want. If you buy, you never know whether it's new or something else actually resides in it. You know what I mean?

Next, if you somehow got a bottle of oil with hair/herbs from any monk, try not too use it. It may be OIL retrieved from a dead corpse. If you use it, Good Luck.....I won't want to say any further.

By the way, I don't think there is any Buddha pendant which will make you rich. From my understanding, what goes round comes around. which means all is pre-destined. You can try to make the best out of your life, but as for wealth.....maybe we should all just work hard. As for women, I think what they need is lots of un-conditioned love, money & care. When I mean money, I mean it as in you can show to her that you are able to take care of her and the future darlings of the world. When you treat someone nice, it doesn't mean that she/he will definitely be nice to you, but neither will they be too mean to you, if they actually have a heart.

I don't know,although I am wearing thai Buddha pendants, I am thinking as something I can trust my faith in, not something to make me powerful or even rich or even a CASANOVA......well no matter what, I hope I have clarified all doubts here. Take care & good nite, folks!
