its should be a somdej,as for the batch i cant really see the back of the amulet..

inform ur bro to give only rm10...then check see if they got "ter" stick glue on ur jtk mou and inside out clear or not..and round the jtk..make sure can see the jtk and no glue stain..if not kantoi liao...btw rm35 is kinda exp given for the size of ur jtk...ah chai in wat meh liew = famous for pau plastic nice nice..in the pau plastic business for long time liao..

somdej is made famous by somdej toh...a legendary monk..speculated in the '80s that even jackie chan wore it...was taken photo and there is one batch known as the jackie chan batch...all goreng price up...
mainly its  for smooth sailing in work, and avoid danger..

if both looks the same,back of amulet also the same...just that smaller in size = no difference..
i think the color is the aging process of the amulets although there is some with lime yellow color..(for somdej)...there are some batch with rainbow color or black color...super nice...

its okay bro..we are all newbies in amulets here...
what does it do- er...to protect and serve..as a reminder to buddha of our actions..

what is the do n donts when wearing? - this varies...but basically thai buddhism dont have much pantang and forgiving...unless u did something really bad...and sometimes ignorance is a bliss also..hehe...just put yourself in the shoes of the amulets,how would you like to be respected..etcetc... a very good example...
some people will have lotsa pantang larang with their amulets,but they dont do good deeds..
some people dont have much pantang larang..but they do alot of donations..helping people out when got trouble...
who do you think the deity will help..?hehehe
and ofcoz sometimes some amulets you rented,maybe the monk will tell you abit on the prohibited things not to do while wearing..so as a respect,just kiv loh... like if you have lp thuad amulets..try not to goto chicken farm,watermelon farm,papaya farm while wearing it,because lp thuad is a monk..

how to take care? - er..basically mass chanted amulets doesnt need to "recharge" maciam batteries...when mass chanted...the "power" is extended till eternity unless there is a specific thing u cant do with it,and break the spell loh..thats why some amulets are chanted for months...some even for years...sometimes ppl like to take to temple for chanting,basically sometimes its a way of making u feel better,unless u know who created the amulets or he/she is good at it..then its ok loh...er when not wearing the amulets,just put in some place which is high up..eg home altars..etcetc...and as an respect to amulets...try not to put in the room(especially not single loh..when bang bang tak-akan wants deity to be there for the actions kans)  kruenglang type should be okay in room kua....kruenglang is like tangkai,takrut,loop om..those are holy amulets made of yants/keng made by monks and without features of buddha or deity..

sorry for the hard fact but..life is always up and down....luck will be good and bad...depends on your karma...
wear amulets+have a kind mind,do donation,charity = even when you are out of luck also wont be that bad..
love= let it be natural loh..if its yours its yours,if its not yours, u use barang and get her back or get her also no use,coz soon when your luck is out.will be 100X worse

ahhh.good to hear that your somdej got help you..my somdej,help me alot too last time..in terms of er,,safety..now sudah cracked alot,so decided to put in altar for prayers only...hehehe your somdej,u can always wear it back mah..

u mean my somdej?my somdej currently now sitting on the altar 24/7

oh..its up to you...but ofcoz if at home,just put in altar loh :>
normally for my case,i will just wear the amulets when going out,when come home,i put all back to the altar,pray pray..hehe
