fw2.2 reporting in.

1. Cydia solid as a rock. Did not crash once since last night.

2. No problem with BiteSMS. Load faster than before.

3. Same with Stock SMS app. Loads faster.

4. Contacts load and search faster.

5. Only have problem with Snapture on the loading screen but the app is working fine.

6. MobileTerminal working as normal.

7. Boss prefs not working properly. I have not install SBSetting yet so dunno.

8. CallerID still sucks. So malas want to put +6 to all no.

9. Boot up time 35 secs.

This is based on 24 hours of usage since upgrade and JB yesterday.

Hope that fix for the Caller ID will be coming soon....I can almost memorize the numbers of my contacts already hahaha

can i use quickpwn to directly update to 2.2 AND jailbreak it one shot?

i am using a 3g jailbroken 2.1, and i was wondering if i can cut short the updating and jailbreaking process by doing both of them together via quickpwn/pwnage.

I'm afraid you can't. You still need to update Fw 2.2 via iTunes and Quickpwn to JB. Only Pwnagetool does it one shot.

I just updated to fw2.2 for my iPhone 3G (HK unlocked version) after updated iTunes 8.02... everything fine.

until I JB it will Quickpwn 2.2

and it "white appled"...

so, I DFU and restore it again...

no problem at all for 2.2 only that caller ID.

Same with me.. Just success upgrade FW 2.2 using Pwnage Tool. Now progressing edit all 270 contact number to +6. It's work after install Fix Caller Id from Cydia.

mine also almost 270 contact number.

I haven't tried this yet but I think rushmode on post #705 on this thread might have hit the nail on the head with an easier method of adding the +06 prefix. Look it up.

LOLz..I made a link on iphone for dummies too under 5. CallerID - Numbers instead of names when receiving call or sms.

So it's easy to provide the link.
