any of u guys feel tat cydia is abit buggy?

i keep having these errors out of nowhr for sm apps...
any idea y?

tips on how to mass add +6 to the contacts. when i 1st get the 1st gen iphone i was using winmo and all my contacts sync on the outlook and most doesnt have +6 infront of them. what i do is

in outlook highlight all contacts and export to .csv format.

open the csv file using text editor. i use notepad++ (great text editor for windows) and do a search & replace.

in "Find" entry put: type=pref:016 (016 mean looking for all digi contact.. repeat step with 012, 019 and others)

in "Replace with" put: type=pref:+6016 then search. make sure you tick "find exact match only" to prevent f***ups!

once done double check.. save the csv and import back to outlook or whatever. and u r done. i converted all my 400++ contacts in 1 min.

edit: for mac.. use smultron. i'm using more than anything else after i convert to mac.

at last..

my network block all the streaming websites, including itunes store. pwnage from my mac, then move the custom ipsw to my pc, then restore it there. first get error 13, but when i tried the second time, it work, have to connect back to my mac, now it synchronizing damn slow.. can't wait to play with the new firmware..

i hate when this happend! everytime i done an update.... the sim card issint detacted!

So far so good in my i2g. Haven encounter any problem since i updated yesterday.

Boot up is quite slow but other than that, it greatly improved in the sense of less laggyness in SMS, phonebook and all.

Only problem thats still bugging me is CallerIDfix problem. Doesnt support FW2.2

hmm its kinda faster(2.2) compare to 2.1
booting kinda lil' quick.. doing respring also faster

erm, my cydia crushed whenever i tried to open it, it bounced back to my home screen.. any one got the same problem? mine is 2g, upgrade from 2.1 -> 2.2.. and one more thing, my apps can't be installed back to iphone..

im doing my restoration again since the phone cannot detact my sim card... duh.... this is going to take some freaking time!

I never encounter any problem with this before but I got a similar problem as yours. Everytime i try to go Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars, it bounce back to home screen. After restore, everything seem to be back as usual.

bro harmeet, Cydia seemed fine when I first upgraded to FW2.2 but when I clean restored and redid the whole process last night again, Cydia kept giving me those same problems you encountered as well (also app download problems, slow loading of install buttons). I had to reboot the phone in order to get it running somewhat properly again.

I'm assuming all the developers are in the process of porting their software from 2.1 to 2.2 compatibility so there will be a bit of buggy-ness these few days for the jb side of things. On a good note, SwirlyMMS has been updated last night to work on 2.2 so it seems the major app developers are working fast.

damn, second attempt, cydia still can't work.

1st attempt - pwnage 2.2 - restore - cydia can't work
2nd attempt - pwnage 2.2.1 - restore - cydia still can't work..

now, trying to use quickpwn (windows)..

Can't work? Did you restart your phone after JB? I use Pwnagetool 2.2.1 and did it in one go. Cydia works as how it was before accept for some apps that needs updating like WifiToggle etc.

Oh add biteSMS as well...it's giving me random crash problems in 2.2. Their website states its been updated for 2.2 though. Maybe I missed it during the night. Will give it a try and report back.

Oh yea forgot.. Bossprefs and SBSettings toggle seems to be faulty as well. Apparently there is a conflict btwn biteSMS and BossPrefs toggle.
