yeah, dat y b4 4k series launch, it is rumor 2 hav close 2 1ghz clock speed.

hm............my 4870 wit ASUS TOP bios can only OC max till 870 wit CCC 8.9
875 will result in failure 2 pass the test sometime.............

lets hope CCC 8.10 will giv better OC ability.

Drivers used will affect the OC ability? Anyways what test did you use to verify your card is stable at the oc-ed clock?

yeah, driver will effect OC ability.
bios also. may b wen i free next time i'll try OC wit other bios. just hope dun fry my card during test...........
but actually 870 is already quite good if u look @ stock speed @ 750 only.

i use built in test in CCC in the 1st test, 875 fail 3/5 times.......
870 confirm stable wit 3dmark vantage.

How's the crysis:warhead performs on 4850 for you guys?
Mine like choking at 22-3xfps with gamer settings at 1440*900 reso

XP DX9 - Above 30fps all the time

Vista DX10 - Goes below 30fps at times =(

I think the ice part slowed down a little, after the hovercraft and when you're on foot.

i tot crysis is best is nvidia's gc.
saw lot of benchmarks after googling prove this.

Crytek is lousy game engine, Crying since 8800GTX until now GTX280 cant really play smoothly on DX10. The Cevat families with pack of lies, promise better optimised gameplay Warhead but the result came out still the same.

Nvidia gc has the upperhand, but as newer ATI drivers released they are as well optimized for Crysis . Wait for the upcoming 8.10, apparently giving boost to games like Crysis.
